Being our first time to do a home repair that involves our insurance company, this company helped us in any way possible. They worked with us professionaly.

They did a great job on the roof itself, but did a poor job of considering my plants. They destroyed some of them. I asked them to push the materials off the side since there are no plants or roses on the side. They pushed off the back and front. I asked them to please push it off to the side. It destroyed my 8 foot elephant ears and broke some branches on my rose brushes in the front. I was not happy. When the guy came out that I signed the contract with, I discussed it with him. I discussed it with the person in charge of the crew. I attempted to discuss it with the crew, but they were all Hispanic and no one knew what I was saying. The roof looks great, but I was very upset with my yard. I am hoping the elephant ears will come back in the spring. I made one of them come down and crawl through the stems and pick up the shingles and black paper. Furthermore, I asked three different people to protect the plants and roses. This is an issue they need to address.

I think they did an excellent job and cleaned up well. The sales manager tricked me into signing. I wanted an estimate, and it is a lot of money. He said if you put your signature here, it would be the figure we agreed to. If you initial, and you want to cancel, there are thousands of dollars of fees and penalties. I went with them because I didn't want to pay the fees. I read that it was three or four days to cancel, but I didn't receive the hard copy until five days later. It was very close, and he probably sent something electronically, but it is hard to read on my phone. I feel I was tricked, and I just wanted an estimate. I found another company that uses Owens Corning for $7,000 less, and I would have preferred not to have to use my retirement money, and I am not rich. I saved money, and I did need a new roof. He physically installed the roof and did an excellent job, and I was very pleased. Also, it said on the contract if they leave something behind, I need to tell them, or I will be charged for it. They left duffle bags, and I called, and I found it interesting that if they leave something behind, I will be charged. They did come, and they did pick it up. I found that interesting, to see if I would be honest, and it was weird that they did leave something behind. They also tried to charge me more for the boards. The prices allotted for three or four pieces if they needed extra for the roof. He said it would be $75 for each board, and it would be $300 more. I am confused, because you agreed upon that price, and it went past what I would have paid. He said that they will exchange it for the ones we need. They did not charge me more, but they tried.

I would recommend them because they were extremely punctual, accommodating, and the quality of the work was awesome. The lady at the front desk went above and beyond after the completion of the work because I requested the warranty and she physically brought it to my door. Things like that in this day and time, going above and beyond like that, I don't see it much and I really appreciated that.

The two gentlemen that came out to look at our roof couldn't have been better. They were very professional and courteous.

I would recommend them to a friend because they did a great job. The crew that worked on it were efficient, getting it done in about a day, and cleaned up really well. They got all the stuff out of the way. It took me a little longer to get the pay on it because it took me awhile to get them to understand I don't have an email address, so I had them send it to my daughter and my daughter couldn't forward it to them, for some reason.

From the reference that I got to call them to the first phone call all the way through to the completion of the roof and the inspection afterwards has been all fantastic. A great experience.

We did have to call them back one time to smooth out the buckles in the original roof. It is now fine.

Price was nice but it was an insurance job anyway. Guys tore up my landscaping out of negligence. I understood things could happen but leaving roofing materials over bushes for a day killed plants. Cleaning up daily would have prevented it. Left nails everywhere.

The roof was done in a timely manner. But however the turbine vents were replaced with box vents at first. That wasn’t apart of the deal. And took weeks of messaging back and fourth to get it fixed. Also, the crew that put the roof on, was climbing up and down my pergola in the backyard like it’s a ladder. It’s not a ladder. And they were also climbing and standing all on top of my brand new air conditioner outside and shifting it all over the place. That is a brand new unit and it was not cheap. So I did not appreciate it being climbed and stepped all on

Some of the crew working on my roof seemed not to speak English well or made it seem they didn't. They left one day , after only been there for an hour and said they would be back the next day. The supervisor brought them back and apologized, putting them back to work as a punishment, at 4pm. They skipped some cleaning up. On the whole the Job itself was well done, no leaks, with the one rain we have had.

Hard to get paperwork when i requested it numerous times. Sent me HOA form for community I don't live in.

Started out great. Until installation of roof and down to cost. Salesman put us down for the highest quality shingle making us pay out of pocket more. Blamed our child saying we paid attention to the newborn crying when he was asleep. Failed to accept responsibility and put the blame on a child which was a lie. Roofing installers left food all on my front porch, moved my furniture around to use. Left shingles on my outdoor furniture. Nails were everywhere in my front and back yard, there was no clean up conducted until I complained and did majority of it myself. After installation inspection there were flaws they had to come and fix twice.

Got to be the worst roofers in Somerset. For the money paid I should not have to point out all the mistakes they made. I’m 69 years old and don’t like getting on my roof but I did and I was sick of everything I saw. My only hope is that it doesn’t leak because it looks 3rd rate at best.

The job took two days to complete. Once completed and WE inspected the roof we found granules already missing in several spots, several large gaps that we can see white underneath the layers, material nailed into the shingles, and large overhang.

We are very unhappy with our sales member, Jaime Gill. We spent an inordinate amount of time with her going over the roof AND gutters and she wrote up a contract. The contract was higher than three other companies but because she took the time with us we chose her. Unbeknownst to us, she left the gutters out of the contract and we paid a very large amount for just a roof.

The experience from start to finish was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The roof color was misrepresented by the salesperson, leading to us getting a roof color we dislike. We were brushed off when I tried to address those concerns. The flashing color arrived an incorrect color and was installed without giving us an option to keep it or replace it. The project manager did not properly keep us informed on that situation and I had to follow up for a resolution. We were misinformed or highly overcharged for extra wood needed. There were more issues than this but these are the highlights. In the end, we were not valued as customers even though the issues were the fault of the company. We were sold a roof we don’t like and a nightmare of an experience. Choosing this company was a mistake from the beginning and I would never ever recommend you to anyone.

Did not match existing facia or gutters. Ruined brand new gutters and gutter guards. Put a horrible color of rolled roof that I was not given an option on choice of color. Left mess daily left gates open. Complete disregard of my property. Sales manager agreed and tried to get corporate to compensate but they refused. Obviously they value greed over customer satisfaction

Every person that I talked to from BCR was extremely helpful and courteous. Royall Howell was extraordinarily helpful. I will recommend BCR to anyone who is in need of a new roof. The installation crew did a fantastic job and cleaned up everything nicely.
