Started out great. Until installation of roof and down to cost. Salesman put us down for the highest quality shingle making us pay out of pocket more. Blamed our child saying we paid attention to the newborn crying when he was asleep. Failed to accept responsibility and put the blame on a child which was a lie. Roofing installers left food all on my front porch, moved my furniture around to use. Left shingles on my outdoor furniture. Nails were everywhere in my front and back yard, there was no clean up conducted until I complained and did majority of it myself. After installation inspection there were flaws they had to come and fix twice.

Got to be the worst roofers in Somerset. For the money paid I should not have to point out all the mistakes they made. I’m 69 years old and don’t like getting on my roof but I did and I was sick of everything I saw. My only hope is that it doesn’t leak because it looks 3rd rate at best.

The job took two days to complete. Once completed and WE inspected the roof we found granules already missing in several spots, several large gaps that we can see white underneath the layers, material nailed into the shingles, and large overhang.

We are very unhappy with our sales member, Jaime Gill. We spent an inordinate amount of time with her going over the roof AND gutters and she wrote up a contract. The contract was higher than three other companies but because she took the time with us we chose her. Unbeknownst to us, she left the gutters out of the contract and we paid a very large amount for just a roof.

The experience from start to finish was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The roof color was misrepresented by the salesperson, leading to us getting a roof color we dislike. We were brushed off when I tried to address those concerns. The flashing color arrived an incorrect color and was installed without giving us an option to keep it or replace it. The project manager did not properly keep us informed on that situation and I had to follow up for a resolution. We were misinformed or highly overcharged for extra wood needed. There were more issues than this but these are the highlights. In the end, we were not valued as customers even though the issues were the fault of the company. We were sold a roof we don’t like and a nightmare of an experience. Choosing this company was a mistake from the beginning and I would never ever recommend you to anyone.

Did not match existing facia or gutters. Ruined brand new gutters and gutter guards. Put a horrible color of rolled roof that I was not given an option on choice of color. Left mess daily left gates open. Complete disregard of my property. Sales manager agreed and tried to get corporate to compensate but they refused. Obviously they value greed over customer satisfaction

Every person that I talked to from BCR was extremely helpful and courteous. Royall Howell was extraordinarily helpful. I will recommend BCR to anyone who is in need of a new roof. The installation crew did a fantastic job and cleaned up everything nicely.

Friendly sales representative. Very knowledgeable. Answered all questions we had, and even offered very helpful and informative information. Will definitely recommend Best Choice Roofing to all my friends!

The materials are good, but the workers they have are lousy. A lot of repairs had to be made, and the install crew had to come back due to carelessness. They did not leave my house the way they found it, and they had far too many people working. They really needed someone on site to oversee the work being done.

Luke Phillips, the representative from Best Choice Roofing & Home Improvement Inc - Hickory, NC, is an outstanding employee of the company. He covered every detail meticulously. Not only that, he fulfilled and exceeded my expectations.

When the people that came out to do the estimate, they were supposed to do an estimate on the house and the garage. We talked for about an hour and a half. When he did the estimate, I made sure it was for the house and the garage. He said yes. When they came to do the house, they guy I spoke with, when asked, said that he was just doing the house. I had to call the manager, and he said that the estimate was just for the house. I told him, no, it was supposed to be for the house and the garage because the garage had wind damage too. After everything was said and done, he was going to reach out to the guy that did the estimate because it was noted that I was thinking about the garage. Once he had seen pictures, he agreed that I was doing the garage as well because you could see the paper off of the garage and off of the plywood. After said and done, they did give me a discount on the garage as well and it was fine. Talking with the guy that did the estimate, the whole hour and a half, I made sure that I said for the house and garage, over and over again. I do not know what happened that it was not on the paperwork the first time. I am happy with it, happy with who they sent out, and it looks good. Overall, I am happy.

The work wasn't done right and there some hiccups along the way. The salesman showed up at my door and talked with me about the process. I put in claim through insurance and my insurance agreed to replace roof. The salesman said whatever the insurance payed that would be the total bill by the end of the project. When the project was completed I got billed more than what insurance agreed to and had to come up with the remainder. I planned to pay the rest in multiple installments but when I sent the first check of $50, I received a phone call saying that if I did not pay the rest in full, my warranty would be declined. I will not use Best Choice Roofing in the future.

Mike came out to do our consultation and he was very informative. He did a thorough job of going over everything with us and explained how the process would work. He gave us a wonderful deal on the roof. The quality of work went exactly as expected.

They are terrible with scheduling. Communication is really horrible.
