It was atrocious.
My experience with Belfor Property Restoration could only have been worse if they had burned my home down. They took 1.5 years to rebuild a master bathroom, attempted to (in my opinion) overcharge me for materials, provided bad craftsmanship, and generally disrespected me and my home.
The end result is excellent, but the bureaucratic process between my insurance company, Belfor, a third-party estimator and a sub-contractor who actually performed the work was cumbersome. It took three months to begin work, and two weeks to complete the job.

I don't live there, I rent the house. They used the electricity for the people that live there. They wanted me to pay for the electricity because the company used their machines in the house. It had to come out of my pocket. They should bring their own power supplies. I think it has a lot to do with the insurance. They used the excuse that I wasn't living there, but they knew it was a rental house. The law in California is if you rent a house, the tenant has to pay for the electricity, water, and trash collection.
They were professional, very courteous, and a pleasure to work with.
I initiated with them in January to get my roof repaired. It wasn't repaired until July. I had to chase them by calling and calling to get someone to look at my roof. When they finally contacted me, I was informed by the project manager that their company was going through a change. Everything was up in arms and things were not being done. Everything was being backlogged. I can give them an out because they had this big change. That information wasn't given to me until the start of the roof repair, which was 6 months later. In the meant time, I didn't know the status or when it would start. It was really rough. It was the worst experience, and I wasn't satisfied. Once they did the work, it was excellent. The project manager was exceptional. Everything before that, caused me a lot of stress. They had to come put tarps on my roof. It was just a mess.
Definitely will use Belfor again if needed!
It took almost three years for my siding to be fixed after damage from a storm. When they finally showed up to work on it, they did a partial under layer, there were nails and their personal trash all over my yard. Then after about 6 weeks of my house sitting exposed, the under layer was falling off, once again leaving the wood to be exposed. After that was re-done and siding went up, siding came down in numerous areas. And I again had to wait for them to come finish it. They then proceeded to tell me that I owed them $3000. Absolutely worthless of a company.
They are the worst construction company I have ever dealt with.
Stay away! They will do more damage than you already have. They are awful communicators and liars.
When you first see Belfor, you think they handle everything. They are just the money collector, and they sub out everything. When I had an issue, they said it was another company.
BELFOR was assigned by my insurance co, and responded promptly after a tree fell on my house during a rain storm. They packed up the house and moved it out if the house. They sealed off the kitchen as a zip room as it didn't need any repair. My question is ,why seal off the room and then pack up everything in all the drawers and cabinets, even the pantry cabinet. I got the impression that more boxes packed, more money paid. They left everything clean and were very prompt on the job. The job is not yet complete.
Belfor - Reno was super responsive to my calls and texts and emails. When there's water damage you want someone there mitigating the water damage ASAP. I'm so appreciative for Belfor's prompt response and action in working on my condo.
After another huge contractor in town dumped my flooded kitchen after 7 months.. Belfor stepped in and had it done in 3 months. Entire kitchen flooded. the other company left me with lies, distrust, more damage, and plywood. The only thing they left in tact was the fridge. All the guys were polite, respectful, on time. Nothing is ever perfect in these cases..but they come damn close. Especially as I was facing surgeries and had limited movement.
Joe communicated with me and was very professional. The office staff was very helpful. It was a positive experience, and I was pleased with the service.
I used Belfor because that's who my insurance company sent out to give a repair estimate on a water damage claim. The repairs took over a year to complete! To Belfor's credit, they used some vendors that I would be happy to use again. I never had the feeling that Belfor valued me as a customer; I was just a job that they could get to as was convenient for them.
They were great.

Belfor switched project managers on us in the middle of the project. We didn't know that was happening. Even before that, there wasn't good communication between us and the project management team. There were some good workers. The fact that we were not kept informed was somewhat of a problem.
My husband and I were very satisfied with the work that was completed. It took us a while to get the kitchen remodeled, but that was because our first contractor quit on us. Belfor worked with the insurance company. Our insurance company got us Belfor and it eventually got finished. The work that was done was to our satisfaction. It was done very well. We worked with one particular gentleman in all the cases. He went out of his way to make sure that we were satisfied. My husband and I appreciated that. That is why I am giving them a 4 out of 4-star rating.
Raydean did well on the restoration portion (probably a 4 in ranking) Alex in the rebuild has been less than satisfactory. He doesn't return phone calls and doesn't keep promises. Have called the office previously and will do today trying to get follow up
It took an excessive amount of time to complete the job.
Bad communication with us and at times it seemed we were told misinformation on purpose It took 5 months to complete a very small cabinet repair
Customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. Company they hired to do the work left a huge mess behind.
The estimator, Sean, is really great to work with. Everybody is super nice.
We were referred to Belfor on behalf on our insurance, we had no issues whatsoever. Everyone communicated effectively and there was no delay in work. Thank you Belfor!

Inspite with all the delays, BELFOR head staff, managers, crew members, and all staff was very accommodating to all our needs, questions, concerns, etc.
It was bad timing and took longer than they anticipated due to the availability of help. They were all very courteous and polite. I am very satisfied with the work that was done.

It almost took a year to get everything done.
We had a project with Belfor that lasted 2 yrs and I know some of the delays were with covid but Belfor had multiple chances to make things right and they missed on every opportunity. We had multiple job foreman and mistake after mistake all of which put our house in disarray. Sorry but with that said I cannot recommend Belfor for any project
I would highly recommend Belfor to anyone. I felt completely comfortable with the crew. They were dedicated, fantastic, and did everything on time.
Things took longer than what we were given the estimate for, and there was some confusion along the way that extended the time.
The guys who worked on my claim have done an excellent job they were on time and very communicative they did a quality job, especially the contractors who fixed the issues. The other part where we had to fix the outlet and the painting, they did an excellent job. They could have done much better on replacing the tiles. They had to fix the toilet. After reminding them, they added the white part at the bottom of the toilet. They were rushing to complete the job.
Belfor - Springfield was wonderful, and so was their subcontractor that they recommended.

Through COVID and all the problems we had, they finally got here and got the work done. It took awhile, but I was very happy to see them get here and get things done.

They were very thorough in coming out and getting the restoration done. Although it did take some time due to some issues with ordering, once they got started, they were quick. They were very efficient in getting things done so I could get back into my home, which was very nice.
