You let my house sit empty for six months and did virtually nothing. We finally fired you after repeated efforts to get you to come and actually DO THE WORK. The job should have only taken a couple of months to get us back in the house, although rebuilding the garage would have taken a bit longer. We waited from March to November and finally gave up on you. Two weeks after being discharged, someone called to ask if they could save the contract. They simply weren't paying attention. At times it seemed as if no one was in charge as nothing was happening. We should not have waited as long as we did to fire you. I'm sure you had more important jobs elsewhere, but we couldn't wait forever. We will never recommend you for anything! All that was done was demo, and virtually no rebuilding except for electrical.
Very reliable team.
Did all the work. I did not have to chase around to get things done.
The project manager assigned to us is either not responsive or slow to respond. We had to repeatedly reach out to our claims rep from the insurance company to resolve disputes with the contractors (removal of molded items from the home, finding flooring to match, response times, etc.). A job that should take only a few weeks has stretched into over 2 months and counting.
This contractor made it fairly easy to work with and we felt they managed the overall project well. There were no real surprises.
Terry is very pleasant to work with. The experience each time I have needed them was very professional and they met all my needs.
Everyone was very kind and communicated well with all aspects of the project.
We had a water leak issue and thought it was a good idea to go with the restoration company that my insurance recommended. It turned out to be the worst contractor I had to ever deal with. No sense of urgency and no updates unless I followed up multiple times. Dragged project from what was supposed to be 3-4 months to 8-9 months. This not only maxed out our loss-of-use coverage, but also caused me to miss opportunities to make other improvements to my house during the repair period. Packers didn't air out my fridge, caused it to become moldy. No clear plans about repair and limited opportunities to make upgrades. Basically, level of communication was abysmal, just winging it as they went. Some workers had no idea what they were doing. Fortunately I was able to catch those moments the few times I was there, however I was not always there. Even though all bills were settled with my insurance, ATI keeps sending me invoices for work that was completed and settled months later. Avoid at all costs.
Yes definitely
In my opinion your people are spread too thin. You cannot complete a job satisfactorily running from one job to another without close supervision. It’s important for good communication in the same language. When one has to go through someone else always something is lost.
They did not finished the job.
They made a point of communicating with me about any delays that came about.
The communication was very poor throughout our restoration process. Most of the communication was initiated by us after waiting and waiting for calls to coordinate activities. The team members were nice people but they were very dis-organized.
By not fixing broken parts
The process was mired by an approval process that was necessitated by the insurance company but resulted in delays that were frustrating. I am looking for a quick turnaround in the cash out process on amounts paid to ATI but that are owed to me. If the cash out is done quickly I would be willing to give ATI a higher score.
Had to constantly check in just to keep the project moving, then they tried to say they couldn't start till a month later until I reminded them that according to the contract they had to start sooner. Then tried to charge me my deductible 2-3 weeks after I had already paid my deductible which then took 2 weeks to resolve as well. Painters got paint on multiple parts of the carpet as well as on doors and other objects. The only part that was satisfactory was the carpet cleaning which was done professionally and yielded fantastic results. Overall though I've had water damage before and the restoration process through the other company was leagues ahead in communication, quality of work and overall speed of completion. I will absolutely not use ATI ever again.
From start to finish, the team was extremely responsive, arriving quickly and keeping me informed throughout the process. They were respectful and professional, treating my home with care and ensuring that every step was handled thoroughly.
Excellent customer satisfaction and communication
Communication on the project was very poor. Things took incredibly long to complete. Selections that I made weeks in advance, ended up being out of stock at the last minute. In the end, my maintenance man finished parts that were not planned to be completed in a timely basis.
We have used midpoint for many projects in the last fifteen or twenty years, and had never experienced disappointment like this before.
Poor communication and it took 4 weeks to do a project that should have taken 5 days
Even though the project took longer than I expected, the house looks terrific.
Getting started with the project took longer than I expected it too.
They were very responsive, quick to provide updates, and stayed on schedule very well.
Professionalism and expertise demonstrated during the work completed thus far.
My project manager (Jinette) was always rude, behind schedule, and would then blame my wife for it.
