Great to work with, made our restoration process very smooth
Arrived as scheduled
I made a terrible mistake using Four Seasons Restoration for my kitchen restoration and renovation. To begin with my assigned contractor Peter Peltonen took weeks to “understand” the design change that I wanted to make in my kitchen. The leak in my kitchen occurred on July 24, 2024. He finally referred me to a real kitchen designer Lisa at Arista Kitchens (supposedly owned by a friend of his) in late September. I was able to get real designs within a week. Cabinets were ordered with a delivery date of November 12. I needed a new sliding door and was prepared to pay for that separately. On October 24, 2024, Javid and Cliff (his workers) spent an entire day installing the new door. I was appalled that it closed with more difficulty than the 35 year old door that was replaced. I told Peter and he assured me that it would be taken care of. The following week, the demolition of the remainder of my kitchen happened. They removed all of the old cabinetry and a closet which would now become my refrigerator and pantry space. I had also requested that 8 high hats be put in the ceiling to light the room. Without any discussion (other than where the lights should be placed) and without removing the ceiling, Javid and Cliff proceeded to cut a trench the entire length of my ceiling and make 8 holes for high hats. They put in wiring for the high hats. Another in house team member showed up, got into a cursing match with the other workers and left. Adrian was supposedly the electrical guy. The fight went on with my disabled daughter and me in earshot of it all. In the following weeks, Javid (not a licensed electrician) and Cliff worked on my kitchen. My cabinets arrived on November 12, 2024 but the kitchen was certainly not ready for them as Peter had told me. When the cabinets, Peter actually sent Adrian (now the cabinet expert because he had a laser) to install them. Adrian installed an entire wall of brand new cabinets without following the very detailed blueprints from Lisa at Arista Kitchens. The sink cabinet was not directly centered on the window and nothing else was in the correct place. I called Peter and he came to look. I told him that I did not want Adrian in my home again. Peter asked the installers from Arista KItchens, Walter and Jose, to do the installation and re-install my kitchen door. They did an excellent job. Next, I had to have the electrical outlets moved to the correct places and the gas line for my range moved to the specifications for my new range. These were done by Javid (now he is a plumber, too)? Next came the countertops which I ordered, payed for and had installed by Rai. Next is flooring. Peter’s friend did the installation of the flooring which I chose. I payed for extra flooring to have it installed in my living room and hallway to remove sills to make it easier to get my daughter’s wheelchair through my house. Nobody mentioned that installing the flooring would require destroying all of the baseboards and doorways throughout these rooms. I then had to pay for new baseboards and casings to all of the rooms. This was done by Cliff who spent more time making out with his girlfriend on his phone than actually working. I also didn’t realize that the pounding on the floor to install it would result in 80 years of dirt from the ceiling in my cellar from falling on everything stored down there. Nothing was covered or protected to prevent this and i still hav a mess to have cleaned up down there. Then Peter was unable to install my new built-in refrigerator, vent fan and range because I chose higher end appliances. The replacement was originally in his contract with me. It cost me an additional $3400 dollars to have Appliance World install my Thermador appliances.the appliances arrived on November 15, 2024 and were installed on January 2, 2025! My sink was placed on December 24, so I finally had running water in the kitchen. Prior to this, I was washing dishes in the bathroom sink and bathtub for 6 months! The bathroom sink was also used by the painters to wash their brushes and rollers. At least, I was finally able to use my kitchen. Peter and his crew finally completed their work on August 13, 2025. I am left with things that can never be fixed. My hallway moldings were fixed with putty and painted over. There are already places where the putty has come off. My kitchen ceiling clearly should have been replaced. There are obvious places where the cabinets do not come up to the ceiling. Doors that were cut down to fit the new door sills in the hallways still scratch and paint chips off of the doors. I welcome you to come and look at my house. The lack of skilled craftsmanship is glaring.
The workers were responsive and fixed any issues I saw with the work,
They cleaned up very well, but also damaged my refrigerator and stove, which were only weeks old.
They charge you for work that they haven't done.
It was a great experience!
Did all the work. I did not have to chase around to get things done.
The project manager assigned to us is either not responsive or slow to respond. We had to repeatedly reach out to our claims rep from the insurance company to resolve disputes with the contractors (removal of molded items from the home, finding flooring to match, response times, etc.). A job that should take only a few weeks has stretched into over 2 months and counting.
This contractor made it fairly easy to work with and we felt they managed the overall project well. There were no real surprises.
Everyone was very kind and communicated well with all aspects of the project.
The communication was very poor throughout our restoration process. Most of the communication was initiated by us after waiting and waiting for calls to coordinate activities. The team members were nice people but they were very dis-organized.
From start to finish, the team was extremely responsive, arriving quickly and keeping me informed throughout the process. They were respectful and professional, treating my home with care and ensuring that every step was handled thoroughly.
Excellent customer satisfaction and communication
Getting started with the project took longer than I expected it too.
Unorganized, no communication between teams, no final inspection
Contacted us on there availability to work on the projects we needed done through out our needs
They did wonderful work, cleaned up everything, and were very quick. I was very satisfied.
Without a doubt I would recommend this crew to anyone and already have.
everything from start to finish went as planned and was delivered in the required time frame
Job went as smoothly as was possible with insurance involvement.
Time, 4 months took 1 year
Lack of communication, had to contact ATI if I wanted to know anything about my damage. Hired outside workers that did a bad job. Went through 2 time lines for finishing the project but they blamed the cabinet makers. So much more to say but USAA adjuster doesn't communicate also.
Took care of me from start to finish.
Efficient, seamless processing of architecture, supply ordering, excellent selection for contractor restoration, easy to work with. Kept all appointmrnts with township, troubleshooting with excellence!
