My husband and I had a wonderful experience with America's Home. The Fayetteville group that we worked with is Top-notch.
America's Home Place and their employees were extremely thoughtful throughout the whole process. They made sure we were aware of how each step worked and worked with us along the whole way! Our house is "ours" and we are truly blessed and appreciative of everything America's Home Place was able to do. Special thanks to Mark and Christine in the Gainesville sales office, they are the best!
Was a great experience the whole way through. Greg was very patient and great to work with to make a floor plan customized for our needs. Grant kept us up to date and was awesome to work with! Got us into our home very quickly and under budget! Would gladly recommend!
Excellent experience from beginning to end, never felt pressured or being "sold to".
Brian is a great project manager! Keeps you informed throughout the process and is very helpful and informative!
We have done both google and your website review. Nothing has changed.
We would definitely recommend America's Home Place Anderson. The building process was quick, efficient, and thorough. Really appreciate their work flow.
Would definitely recommend AHP to any potential house owner to help them walk thru the whole process.
Outstanding service from start to finish!
This is our 3rd home build and BY FAR our best experience end-to-end. Expert and friendly service from day 1 through post-close. OUTSTANDING team at AHP.
They did a great job. Any questions or anything I needed help with, they were willing to help and overcome any issues.
America's Home Place has a professional and knowledgeable team.
Poor project management. Poor work quality. Several times contractors were rushed to complete construction and then the house sat for more than a week without workers showing up
Our building experience was impeccable from start to finish. The quality of the home is excellent.
We worked with James, David, Ross, and Lowell and had a really great experience from start to finish. It was very easy, quick, and painless.
I have already recommend AHP to two people and will continue to do so.
We needed a place that could take our plans for a retirement home and cover all the bases. America's Hom Place fit the bill to a T.
From the beginning phase to the final phase the members at the Knoxville office were there to assist us, Becky, Chris, Matt and Sandy.
Overall easy to work with and good quality for a moderately priced builder, just watch final finish workmanship to make sure its at the level you expect/desire. Finish issues may not be typical as sub-contractors my vary from location to location, but it was my experience. That being said, I am overall satisfied with our house.
I had issues with quality and timeliness from start to finish on my home build. There are also issues from before completion of my build that are still outstanding and have not been correctly addressed despite my contacts with AHP.
This company is terrible. Their sales team is terrible and doesn't know what they are doing. Their builders are even worse and they treat their employees so bad that they don't stay so you end up having a ton of PM's throughout your build.
AHP was exceptional from the first visit to the sales office to closing on our new home. Their schedule for each step of the building process was followed perfectly by the entire team.
I would absolutely recommend America's Home Place to a friend.
Our experience with AHP exceeded all of our expectations. We loved every part of the process from design/picking colors to the dig day, to watching our house come to life before our eyes to getting keys. Greg was awesome and listened to our wishes and did the best he could to make sure we were satisfied with our choices. Once the build started, Taylor always communicated with us what was going on/status updates. The process went so smoothly due to Taylor's diligence and dedication.
Absolutely! We love our new home. We loved the fact that while there were so many plans to choose from, we were still able to customize to suit our needs.
They were new to the area and we had to fire a few subs that were not up to snuff but they made it right all along the way with some extras and its a way better build than the established builders in the area who were all $100k more for less. Tweaked a unique 5 bedroom plan with a first floor master bed/bath, egressed for a 6th bed and 5 bath in the 9' basement, dual hvacs for upstairs and down, custom 18' garage door, custom kitchen with drawer microwave, etc.
If you have any questions in the Cincy area, feel free to email me at joshschaad@***.com for the good and the bad.
Started April 2022. Took 16 months to complete build. Bathroom floor flooded because the drain plug was not removed. Had to have floor replaced. It was put back together, but now toilet is loose. Have to call them again. Master bath shower stall was trimmed too short on the left. Shower doors are not leveled. We have sharp pieces of plastic in our recycled carpet pad that makes noise and sticks up through our carpet. Hurts when you step on them. They did come and remove some plastic pieces from the carpet pad. But, we have stepped on more. Electrical work was not done properly. We have had to have repairs done twice since move-in. Ran out of space
Most disgusting and disappointing venture I have ever been a part of.
Will always highly recommend AHP
We loved the convenience of having a showroom near our town and being able to drop in almost anytime. We were also within an hour and a half of two others we visited. We spent countless hours online looking at floor plans and pictures of other AHP houses. We liked being able to compare floor plans, spaces and prices. Staff was knowledgeable, professional and responsive.
I was very pleased with the level of professionalism from the entire team
Everyone at America’s Home Place was very professional and courteous, and our home was built on budget and on time. However, I would hesitate to recommend America’s Home Place to other people without certain caveats. In the case of our home, I felt there was very poor communication at the beginning between America’s Home Place, ourselves, and the company we hired to grade the property. I understand we chose to hire our own grader, and that he was working for us and not America’s home Place. But there apparently was some disagreement about the sighting of the home that we were never made aware of until after the fact. I believe had communication been better, the relationship of our home to the site could’ve been improved. I understand that our site was a difficult one, but that only reinforces my desire for better communication at the outset.
Another problem was with the electrical service. Easement documents needed to be signed and notarized for our local electrical provider. America’s Home Place initiated that process. Somehow the documents got lost in the mail, and America’s Home Place never followed up. We were unaware of some of the problems this caused on the site. One of them was finishing the well and running water lines to the house. This also had an impact on grading, which exacerbated the already problematic sighting of our house.
I appreciate the honesty and integrity of AHP.
Clear communication, quick service and excellent build quality
Home built as they said it would.
Professional quality work.
We would recommend AHP with some cautions. This was our first time building a house and our Project Manager and Construction Manager were new. This meant that we were all on a learning curve and we as buyers were trying to manage this build from two homes that were 400 and 1,000 miles away.
We have spent hours preparing comments for this survey because we believe feedback is a gift and can be useful for making improvements.
The process was easy to get through. Ryan Hall kept us updated weekly and was always available for questions. He did an outstanding job throughout the process!
They were great to work with.
America's Home Place and all the staff walked us through every step of the way. Our circumstances were a little different than most, but with their help everything went smoothly.
Good people to work with, with the ability to make your vision work!
Don't believe anything they say. My building went over 70000 dollars
I would recommend them. They did high quality build, and they cared about our concerns, and addressed issues that came along the way.
Was a pleasure working with David. We would be happy to recommend America’s home Place to our friends and family
Yeah, I've already recommend you guys to a couple of friends that were asking about my experience
I have already recommended your store in Johnson City to my friend in NC
If America's Home Place starts to service Louisiana again I will definitely recommend them.
I think that AHP was very professional and honest. I didn’t like all their subcontractors.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the opportunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of America's Home Place as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
