They took fifteen months to do the job they said would take four to six months, some of the people working on our home were not very experienced .The quality of work was shabby at best, I had to have them redo alot of their work because of the poor workmanship.
They did a great job, and we had great conversations.
Satisfied with the quality of work however communication was horrible. Had workers at my home a total of about 8 days but it took 9 weeks to complete the job. Promised several time lines that came and went with no contact, contractors would no show on scheduled days or come late. No pricing updates and now 3 months later still have not seen a final bill? Definitely satisfied with clean up portion but would recommend hiring your own people to do the rebuilding portion.
It was fairly easy to get a hold of someone. It was a little difficult to track the number of different people who were apart of the process of mitigation and repairs. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly. 2 stars are given due to very poor communication about billing/invoicing between Alpine and my insurance company. Every estimate/invoice I got had a different amount "owed" at the bottom. Now I've found myself in the middle between Alpine and the insurance company to reconcile differences between the two in estimates/invoices before I pay any money. Work was completed three months ago and this still isn't resolved despite my best efforts.
All the employees sent to my home, to mitigate the water damage in my kitchen and then repair and refinish my wood floor, demonstrated a high level of courteousness and professionalism. The resulting finished floor turned out absolutely beautiful and looked even better than when we bought our new home. I would recommend Alpine Cleaning & Restoration to anyone.
Alpine and their direct staff are very friendly and great to work with. The contractors hired by Alpine to complete the repairs on my home were not professionals. The workmanship on the exterior stucco is VERY LOW QUALITY and will have to be re finished by a professional. The leftover stucco materials were dumped on my front lawn and the wet stucco that was dropped on the ground from the application was poorly cleaned up with our personal home broom that a worker found hanging in the garage next to the home entrance.
I would be very cautious with the subcontractors that Alpine chooses to use. I think they try to save a lot of money, and the quality is not there. We would have never been as passive with the results on our home had we ever been planning to move back into the home.
The work done by Alpine Cleaning & Restoration was excellent and the crew/technicians went above and beyond in their work. My only concerns/issues were with a sub-contractor.
Most horrible service I have ever experienced. First, while cleaning up, they moved a drain hose, which ended up flooding my basement two more additional times. Then, they did not show up to finish the job. They left wet padding etc stacked in my basement, which damaged a wall. We ended up having to clean up. They left two fans for 3 months. I had to call to get them to remove. They then tried to take me to court, because I refused to pay for services they did not perform. They dropped the suit because they have no idea what is going on within their own organization. From their accounts receivable dept, who are inept at any kind of accounting skills, to the management, this entire job was a train wreck!! The job is still not completed. I had to file an additional claim with Alacrity, who oversees their job. Without Alacrity, this would still be a problem unresolved. Alacrity is taking care of the leftover mess Alpine created!Be very very careful if you use Alpine. Make sure you don't sign anything until you are 100% sure the job is complete. Make sure they do everything your insurance company says they are suppose to. Be prepared to call them over and over to make sure they follow up. The only disaster with this disaster company is the company Alpine themselves!!!!!
While the employees were courteous, the process took more than a month longer than the original conservative projection. I had to repeatedly call about the quality of work provided by subcontractors. The project manager did not appear to keep any notes or photos of my project, and had to reach out to me, the homeowner, on measurements and very basic details of the project on several occasions.
We were really impressed with the attention to the little details that Alpine Cleaning gave to our home. It felt like it had been professionally staged given the care that they took of it.
I'm quite unhappy with the subcontractors who did the carpeting but it has nothing to do with Alpine.
They came and got water dried up. After 2 weeks we got our own carpet man to come and reinstall padding and carpet. After 2 months we got our own contractor to come and fix water damage to drywall and paint. We were very disappointed with lack of follow-up and getting restoration work completed
The length of the job would make me not want to recommend them.
Alpine Cleaning was very communicative throughout the whole process. They finished the job 100% on-time and quality was great. They restored things back to new.
Customer service was very poor. Went weeks without any communication. It took eight months to repair minor water damage, and they still have not finished. Not a good restoration company and no professionalism what so ever. Also, the people they hired to put in the drywall in and paint were not professional at all and did not respect my home. I will never ever use their services ever again.
Ken was very helpful, but the furniture movers need to work on their skills a little bit more.
I wouldn't recommend working with Alpine. Their explanation, organization, scheduling, and satisfaction guarantee are all lacking in Utah County.
They were great.
We had water leak into our bedroom from an ice dam during the winter. Alpine was very anxious to please me and remove the damaged wall and flooring and repair it quickly and do it with quality workmanship and materials. Since my husband and I work full time they were allowed to enter my home with a key deposited in a lock box they provided. I am, however, a little frustrated with two things: 1. They never came out with fans to help dry out the two-by-fours behind the sheet rock. I think enough time passed for things to dry, but I'm not certain things were dry before they put new wall up. One day I was off work and able to see and feel that things weren't dry, so the repairman said he would come again the next day, a day I was at work, to see if it was dry. He said it was, so he installed the wall. I wasn't there to verify that it was, so I just had to trust that he did his job well and trust his word that things were dry. I feel they might've been a little too anxious to get the job done quickly. Hopefully the summer heat will bake the interior of the wall enough to kill any moisture problem. Alpine assured me that if any problems occured because of not letting it dry long enough that writing something about it here would help my case in the future. 2. It's been weeks since they finished and took away the lock box. The problem was that they took my house key with it. I called the supervisor but still no house key has been returned to us. This is most unsettling. They did superior work, so I would refer anyone to them, just make sure they get your key back to you!
I just thought they were quick, did a great job and I'm pleased with the work.
They tried to make things right, they do it until they make it right and that's why I recommend them. They make sure the customer is satisfied.
I would recommend them but they did a lousy job packing up my things.
Had a broken water line so there was water damage on two levels.dry out: top level they did a good job drying carpet. sub floor was full of water that was not even attempted to be dryed out. lower level they did a poor job of drying out.removeal of water damage: took out dry wall on top level in one of the three rooms damaged, left behind obviously damaged drywall. lower level they cut out a 6'x6' random piece out of the celing, which wasnt square nor hit any joints, that wasnt even in the damaged area. when asked why their reply was so it can be replaced with a single sheet of drywall. Now i dont know of anywhere that has 6'x6' sheets of drywall.On the day they were scheduled to come tear out , the apt was at 9am. I waited until 12 noon to call and ask where they were but got no answer. called again at 3pm and was told they would be there in a hour. Waited 3 more hours then called. no answer. next day I called and asked wtf and was told theyll be there in a hour. they did show up a 2 hrs late.I ended up doing the rest of the tear out and finishing myself, because i was discusted with the poor work,. lack of know how, and just removing good drywall and leaving the wet stuff. After I cut out the wet drywall in the sub floor celing, that was left behind, to find water still in the celing. i had to dry out a few days on my own.poor poor work, punctuality, knowledge, and work. I do not recomend to anyone.
We have really enjoyed them. They are very professional and did a fabulous job.

Alpine went out of their way to facilitate our needs in a time that was difficult for us. They worked extremely well with our insurance company, and they were a major factor in the insurance company taking responsibility for the renovation.
Upon my timing, alpine was there for me in my time.
Worst experience with contractor ever. Did not adhere to schedule and work done extremely poorly. We are currently soliciting bids to have the abatement done properly since unit is not rentable. Smell of smoke is still quite strong and pictures of the duct work show zero evidence of cleaning also purported sealing of fire damage in attic area so poorly done you can see and smell the charring.Allstate will push you to use these people don't do it.
Top notch company, they were thorough, professional, and most importantly, on time. Very good people who care about their work. Customer service was amazing. I would go with them in a second!!

You folks are outstanding! After what the people who took my house apart did, your folks came in and made me feel it would all be ok again, and they did just that. They were wonderful people and did excellent work. Thank you so very much for making my disaster much less stressful. All those people who worked on my place should definitely get raises.
Dave was over the workers and he would tell me who and when someone would be here and they were every time~! Jonathon was the one rebuilding my kitchen, He did a beautiful job, he was very much an perfectionist in his work. I truly appreciate every thing he did. I couldn't have been treated any better or nicer than I was from Alpine Cleaning & Restoration Specialists, They made the whole experience livable~! I consider them friends now~!!
This is the first time I have ever had my roof ripped off. I think they did it all very well. They helped me so much. They went beyond to help me. Hans really helped me out. He was really awesome.
