They did a great job!
Antonio and his crew were Awesome. Very respectful and professional!
I was very satisfied. It improved the investment in my house. It looks great and they did a good job.
I found Allied on the internet and after talking with someone we decided to go with them. The process was painless. They communicated with us every step of the way. We plan to go with Allied again on our next big home improvement project.
The workers from Allied Siding & Windows were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. They left the job looking better than when they found it. They were easy to work with.
My business experience was fine. Their loyalty to their word in regards to customer referral compensation is flawed with deceit. My neighbor referred me to Allied and I was told that he would receive a $100.00 referral and that never happened.
It was professional and well installed. I had a good experience with the crew. They were on time, clean, and paid attention to detail.
Jay the Sales guy was very good. Anthony and crew were top notch. The back office staff was very bad.
The siding crew was excellent, and the two exterior doors were not done right. Theresa stated the crew chief Ronnie, charged her $500 to paint some trim, that the company did not know about. As far as everything else, it was great.
The people who did the siding hey did a great job. The people that came and did the awning, they were terrible. The crew did the measurements for the awning and that was not right. Every time the company did measurements, they tried to charge me more.
They did a good job. We did a trial job and I was very impressed with the craftsmanship.
We signed our contract in September, and what was delivered to us were the wrong windows. We are still waiting for them to fix the problem.
I've been trying to get someone to come out but I never get a response.
This company is a scam artist. They are high priced, do not follow through, and one of the worst companies I have ever had to work with. Mainly because of John G Culver, the Allied Director of Sales. I hope he does not work there anymore, but if he does, this is where most of this problem is stemming from. You guys had a friendly person come out to give me a bid and I accepted the bid and then he called me back and said they could not do work for me. I got the new windows put in, and they look great from another company.
They did a good job on the project but the organization of the company is not good.
The guys that came out to do the work did a fine job on the siding. They didn't put the door in correctly and there was a leak because of that.
Overall, we are pleased with the products and performance, but it took 6 calls to get a cracked window replaced.
I would have recommended them to a friend if we were not charged for things that we shouldn't have been charged for.
They did a great job!
The communication was very difficult. No one spoke English.
Everything was great! I couldn't have had anyone else do the job as good as they did.
Couldn't have asked for a more professional installation crew and they spoke English well. That's at big deal.
They worked with us and I thought it was a very good experience!
While the estimate for my project wasn't the lowest, it was the Allied lifetime warranty and the James Hardie warranty that swayed my decision. Jay Weda did a great job answering questions and understanding what I was wanting to do.
I am very happy with the work done on my house. Antonio and his crew were amazing - helpful, professional and courteous.
I am a perfectionist. My dad was a carpenter contractor. He built houses. I am 56 years old and when I was in third grade, I was helping him build his house. He specialized in trim work, cabinetry, and finishing work. This takes a lot of attention to detail. The way he trained me, set me up for lots of good things; however, I see lots of slight imperfections that most people would not see. I am picky. I know how stuff should be done. The work that the guys came in and did for me was for the most part good. It looks fine. There is nothing majorly or structurally wrong. What I saw here with the installation of my siding, was not guild. It was not specialized and work of a craftsman. It was production work. There are some place where Arturo and his crew did things differently than what should be. Arturo was good at addressing and correcting what I pointed out though. The crew just did not have the time to do what I would have done. I contemplated along time before do this job thinking that I might be able to do it myself. I spoke with several people and decided that I could not do it myself. I did not have the time. I knew that I had to hire someone. I am glad I did hire Allied Siding & Windows. For the most part they did a good job. There are a few areas that if I had known they were going to do it that way, I would have told them before they started that you are not doing it that way. Here is the way I want it; the right way. One area is the inside corners on the entry way. We have a recessed entry way. It sits back about six to eight feet from the main front of the house. The inside corners according to Hardie secs you put a piece of 1 by 2 back in the corner and but-tuck the siding into the 1 by 2. The siding terminates against the board and put it directly into the corner. The team here ran the siding into the corner and put a 1 by 2 piece trim over it. It was only caulked in by my insistence. Also on the white board that goes up the sides of the gables, the 1 by 2's here instead of being put directly on to the OSB which is underneath the siding, the crew put the siding up first and ran it all the way up against the soffits and then put the 1 by 2 trim over that. I called Hardie technical department about this situation. Is this o.k. is what I asked them. Are you in TX? I told him yes. Why? Throughout the country, except for two places, TX. and GA. this would not be allowed. This is not preferred. If I had know these two things going into the job, I would have demanded the crew do it the Hardie preferred way rather than the excepted manner. When you look at the work, you would say that looks nice; however, then I point out the areas and oh yeah! This looks out of place. It is not a bad job. It looks good. People see it and say it looks a lot better than it did. The guys did a good job. Doing the job the way they did allows them to do the jobs faster, and the way they did it is accepted by Hardie. It is not want I would call guild quality, and it was not what I was lead to believe that I was getting from the sales team at Allied.
Allied Siding & Windows - Dallas did a very good job.
The crew from Allied Siding and Windows were very professional and efficient, completing the job in about 6 hours.
The install crew did a wonderful job. They cleaned up as they went along & in the evening before leaving. They communicated through out the job. Awesome!
They did a great job until the end, when they didn't finish the work.
Jay did a great job and was great to work with.
They did not communicate very well with me during the installation. They did not clean up very well when finished!
Very professional and did a great jobHouse looks the best since I moved in 1998
They were very pleasant to work with.
Great produce, great workmanship.
Work did not start for 4+ months after contract was signed and very poor quality is visible in areas
I had a great experience working with Allied. From pre-sale, to execution of contract, to post work cleanup and the remedy of a few outstanding issues, they composed themselves with professionalism and provided top quality customer service. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
The whole process was easy and simple. The wrong siding was delivered but the team quickly exchanged the product and still completed the job on time. Contractors were friendly and efficient, kept the work area clean. I will use them again for future work!
Highly satisfied with the craftsmanship that was done.
Both the window crew and the siding crew that came out were very friendly and courteous. The siding team went above and beyond their scope by adjusting some structural items, adding a couple of posts and fixing a soffit area. They did this all at their suggestion with no cost, other than me providing the materials. Mike, the team leader has a great rapport with the home owner and remembered every detail we discussed and even offered suggestions on how things would look/work better than originally on the house.
The final siding project was well done; we have received so many compliments on how our house looks now.
I am happy with the job, everything turned out really well.
Allied completely transformed our home with new windows and siding. The crew was courteous and kept the jobsite clean. The project manager made sure everything was completed as promised. Highly recommend them!
Once the work was done, it looked great. But after I was sold the job and approved for payment, I didn't hear from them for weeks. I finally called and had to continue to call to ever speak with someone. I was sold the job in June, the job did not start until October! Hopefully it really will last a lifetime.
There are still some things that need to be fixed and worked on. I will probably use the company again or refer them only if they come back to address the issues.
Up front starting with sales person all seemed great. Then the rains came and it delayed start date. Once we were able to start there seemed to be a lot of confusion on who was coming when and there was no one on site through the entire process to make sure all was smooth and as agreed to with sales person. Things were left undone for days waiting for the next group to come and then issues with who was responsible for what. Then I was asked to sign off on it before the job was complete. It seems to me that if allied wants a job to be done well they would have had a person in charge on site through the project. Also when I tried to contact my main contact at Allied they were out and it took a while to figure out who was backing them up. The paint job seems to be way too thin/scratches to primer too easy, I still have leaky gutters that were not seen until it rained again and not sure how leak proof this is. Oh by the way during the siding hanging process they damaged some electrical wiring and an electrician had to be called in (more delay time and ripped siding to redo). One of the antenna wires was also not lined up properly with the inside hole for the COAX.
After researching several contractor, I chose Allied Siding and Windows initially because of the reviews from other people. I also wanted to go with a reputable company that had been in business for a long time, and had a record providing good customer service. My expectations were fully met. I feel that I got quality service and workmanship, at an affordable price. In addition, I was very pleased with the financing made so I would be able to have the job done without any pressures of money.
Allied is a good company to work with, I would work with them again, recommend them to others. Their quality product is more than I could have asked for and I enjoyed the overall experience.
Allied Siding and Windows did an excellent job installing our Hardie board siding. The work crew was diligent and considerate, paying attention to details and overall doing quality work. There were several instances where there was a miscommunication or lack of communication between us, the main office, and the work crew. We felt like we had to be the initiators of communication to find out what was going on. However, once we did so, everyone, from the salesman to the office manager to the crew always answered our questions and dealt with our concerns. We love the finished product, and are getting lots of compliments!
After I agreed to my siding project quote it took about 2 months to start the project. There was virtually no communication with anyone and I had to make repeated calls to get a project manager to come my home to visualize what materials would be needed and to commit to a start date. After the siding materials were delivered and the demolition of the existing siding and soffits began, and then after installation of the new soffits, I learned that the wrong soffits were installed. I had specified for Hardi-Board Vented Soffits to be installed but alas, I was not going to wait another 2 months for the correct materials to be ordered and crew reassigned so I agreed to the have the delivered soffits to be installed.
