As someone going through storm damage remediation with insurance for the first time, the insurance and repair process from start to completion was well handled and for the most part required little more than decision making and communication on our part as the homeowner, and we were able to have full input on what we were looking for. Advantage was transparent with the insurance and quoting details to keep things moving along, and handled the contractor coordination to have materials and crews available when planned. We were able to make adjustments we were hoping for and the relatively large project went about as well as we could've hoped.
I contacted Advantage Construction because I had two areas where I had water leaking from my roof onto my front-entry patio and back deck. Jake Olson, Project Manager at Advantage Construction came out to do an inspection and within two weeks I had a custom gutter installed over my deck and a new corner miter over my patio. Chris installed my gutters to perfection, and I am so happy with the results. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with working with Advantage Construction. From the first call I made to project completion, it was exceptional.
Advantage Construction helped me and did a very good job. Especially the guy whose name is Marco. I trusted him to do the job when he came to talk to me. He is about the customer's needs.
Advantage guided us successfully through the insurance process.
They stand behind their name and fight for you.
Jason was a very good PR person and explained every step.He answered all questions so the process was understandable.
Removal and replacement of shingles was good, the failure was that when putting in flashing from the siding to the shingles the crew cut 2-3+ inches of my cedar siding off. Looks horrible and has created big problems. I have talked to the local rep who said that you would fix the problem. I do not want a huge flashing I just want my house to look the same so I am expecting all the cut siding to be replaced w/o any legal issues. Time will tell.
Brian, our contractor, was very good at communicating every step of the way.
Advantage Construction Inc was very easy to work with.
The guy I worked with, Brian Martin, was excellent and articulate, and made everything so simple that I could grasp and understand what he was talking about. The crews he worked with were spot on, very good.
The professionalism of everyone, on the job site was wonderful.
Our project manager for our remodel was Devon. He was very professional, polite, and helped us out tremendously when dealing with our insurance company, State Farm. His crew removed the damaged roofing material and had new shingles/soffit installed in a 1.5 days. Please keep in mind our roof shape is of A-frame construction type. Very high to navigate.
There was no pressure to work or sign with them! Casey and Marco answered all my questions in a very timely manner! And our job was completed in one day! Very nice to work with a good company!
salesman qualty of work
My project manager did a great job, but as far as the company, there was no communication whatsoever until it was time to collect the bill.
Complete lack of communication by my sales manager has resulted in a lot of surprises and frustration over the last year of working together. Lack of communication with me on next steps with state farm, to when I needed to pay for what, to even the day of install having no heads up they would block my driveway the day before with a dumpster, or when the crew would start, (6am) or when they would be done (9:47pm) Poor quality of workmanship has been very disappointing. The job was rushed, 20+ hours of work stuffed into a long 16 hour day. That poor planning resulted in poor quality of work, that required fixes to be performed a week after the install. Damage to my leaf guards was so extensive most were thrown away, but no word on replacements yet. There is an area of shingles with such a depression it forms a bowl yet whatever flaw exists in the sheathing or subframing the crew just roofed right over it. Didn't even take photos beforehand. My driveway needs to be addressed from TPO adhesive being dumped on it, resulting in a big black splotch that never used to be there and to top it off a warranty claim has been started with the shingle manufacturer in the hopes that they will pay for the driveway restoration. Now I'm wrapped up in more time consuming paperwork and processes for a defect that if truly present to the magnitude Advantage is claiming, it would've been more than evident to their crew doing the install and work could've been stopped day one. So IF that claim goes through I get to go through this whole circus again, getting a new-new roof, having my life disrupted further, plants and gardens trashed, siding and windows splattered with debris.. This has been anything but smooth or professional.
Very likely to recommend Advantage to others, the reviews were right on about their service.
We are very satisfied!
Very pleasant and professional
They re-shingled my roof in a day. They completed the work promptly. The clean-up was excellent. Not one nail was left.
Even though my insurance company was extremely difficult to work with, Chad was very patient and helpful with the entire process!
Your project manager, Devin, was very knowledgeable and great with communication every step of the way. He was awesome! Upon completion, both roofs look so much better. We will definitely recommend Advantage Construction going forward.
I already recommend Advantage contraction to a friend
Dante from Advantage was very helpful. I know he had several conversations with my insurance adjuster about doing the entire siding job. A little discouraged that it took 8 months to get the siding job completed. Not Advantages fault more so
the insurance adjuster.
We had a great experience working with Bruce and his team to complete our roof project.
