Overall the experience was good. Information and explanation was okay. Some things were left out of the initial consultation specially the warranty and I had to replace my plywood to get a certain warranty. Also apparently there are different types of warranties which I wasn't informed on. This caused an additional expense I was not prepared for. Also specifically, I was not fully updated on that my ventilation for the rest of my roof was adequate. At the end of the project, it seemed like they did not know what I was taking about regarding my soffits. In addition, I was not updated on the change of days for installation of both my roof and gutters. Which is very frustrating when to expect someone to be at my house and they don't show up as informed and come another day. When I call for updates, I was promised a call back but never received one.

They were very professional from the start of upgraded roof installation to the finish, even the office staff assisted in paperwork to my home owners association.

The work crews did excellent work and the project managers were exception. Everyone was very responsive to our questions and concerns.

Very professional and efficient

A1 Home Improvement just finished installing my new roof, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the very first meeting, their salesman, Cully Colantino, stood out—professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure I understood all my options. He kept in touch throughout the project and followed up afterward to ensure everything met my expectations.

The installation crew was fantastic. They worked tirelessly in extreme heat and humidity, always remaining courteous and respectful. At one point, my yard was covered with equipment, stacks of materials, and piles of old shingles and sheathing. By the time they were done, it looked like they had never been there at all—my yard was spotless. In fact, the only trace I found was a single nail in a flower bed, which is remarkable given the scale of the work.

The project manager also kept me updated every step of the way, even sending progress photos so I could see the work in real time.

If you’re looking for a roofing company that’s professional, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work, I highly recommend A1 Home Improvement. They truly deliver from start to finish.

From the very start, the first sales call with Cully and estimate until the day of installation and throughout that day, with Mike W, the onsite PM, everything was perfect, organized and communicated clearly… this with hands down, one of the most professional cruise I’ve ever seen, as a whole. We are incredibly impressed and happy!

Was disappointed that we had to agree on a higher price in order to get the lifetime warranty we initially selected because you didn’t anticipate our current roof had the underlying adhesive that required replacing more of the wood

Great communication at all levels

Roof looks great. Afternoon felt like it was rushed and left without properly sealing my radon exhaust pipe which leaked into the ceiling the first heavy rain. Issues were resolved promptly.
