The structure was built soundly but the sub contracting left all to be desired...shoddy plumbing and hvac, Let the owner choose the subcontractors

The team was helpful and walked us through the build process, with which we were not familiar. They worked with us to re-create the home we lost to fire, nearly to a T, for which we are extremely grateful.

The team at Wausau Homes Elkhorn supported us every step of the way, offering suggestions in design and options when we ran into issues.

Greg and Julia were warm, personable, and incredibly supportive during the design phase of the project. They were very knowledgeable about different options and helped me make good decisions so that design choices were within my budget. The initial process from design, to contract, to framing was incredibly efficient.

Our Wausau home was built in a very timely manner. We had very little setbacks or problems in our process. Our General Kory Belmont ALWAYS answered his phone when we called him, that was by far the most important thing we felt in our total journey in our process to the finish line !!!! We had no idea of the Quality of Wausau Homes because we came in Blind about the Company with no Referral in hand ?? Very Happy with Kory & Crew along with the Wausau Homes Company !!! The homes are beautiful and high-quality. And what the builder says he’ll do and he does it in a timely fashion.

Mike and TJ and their crews were/are attentive to our questions and come up with suggestions and solutions to questions we had before and during the build.

I would recommend Wausau Homes, but with a word of caution that you need to be prepared to follow up consistently and often to get action. If you don't, they will not prioritize your build until it becomes absolutely necessary.

Nick and Matt were fantastic to work with. Both are great communicators and were very responsive to our questions. We are very pleased with the overall quality of our new home.

The quality is superior to other builders.

Our contractor was so caring and committed from day one. He was open to our ideas and in regular communication with us, always pleasant & quick to respond to our many questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to get us through the building (and finishing) project.

However there is disappointment with the Wausau Homes factory construction sending us a large damaged window and 3 faulty windows.

Home was built in a timely manner. Subcontractors lined up well and went smoothly. Subcontractors did good work.

Wausau homes (Ironwood) were great people to work with. They kept me informed and stuck to the timeline that was laid out. Their customer service was excellent.

They were on target to the day. Expensive, yes. They did a nice job. The follow up was excellent. Jason responded to my concerns and did not stop providing service long after the one year warranty.

I have already recommended Terry at Wausau Homes in Medford to numerous people. Some have gone on to build as well and have been pleased also

Great product, and very well built

I have never gone through building a home before so I don't have anything to compare it to. We had a few bumps and frustrations, but throughout it all John was approachable, easy to work with and I completely trusted him to get the job done and do it right.
