Wausau homes (Ironwood) were great people to work with. They kept me informed and stuck to the timeline that was laid out. Their customer service was excellent.

They were on target to the day. Expensive, yes. They did a nice job. The follow up was excellent. Jason responded to my concerns and did not stop providing service long after the one year warranty.

His input made a big difference and helped us feel confident in our decision-making. My husband and I have never had a house in our 42 years of marriage, so this experience working directly with Dustin at Wausau Waverly was especially meaningful. The team, including the local subcontractors Dustin hired, was friendly and kept everything running smoothly, which made the whole process much less stressful than we expected. I have never gone through building a home before so I don't have anything to compare it to. We had a few bumps and frustrations, but throughout it all John was approachable, easy to work with and I completely trusted him to get the job done and do it right. I would recommend a Wausau Home to friends and family but I would strongly recommend a different representative/general contractor than who we had for our home. Our home was one of his first homes and we feel he lacked experience.

Bauer Estates LLC builds the Wausau Homes in Spring Valley and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone due to all the issues we are/have had with them.

Mike & Marissa were incredible to work with to design and build our home. We were upfront with them at the first meeting that we had never designed or built a home and would probably need a lot of help getting through the process. They said not to worry, they had our best interest in mind and they would help us make sure we got what we wanted within the costs we felt comfortable with. In the end we did spend more than we originally planned to, but we got a much better quality home than we had expected and we are over the moon happy with the entire process and the resulting home.

We were building a vacation property in northern WI but live in Colorado. Through good communication and openness to our needs, Nathan made the entire process as seamless as possible. This was the case, beginning with obtaining permits, taking down the existing structure, and moving forward with the new home. Nathan also made the effort to be present on “Set Day” which we really appreciated.

They were great to work with, Nick Hacker made it easy to go through the building process since we have never done this before. There was a crew here damm near every day and many times it was multiple crews. This building process with Hacker construction is much better than other building options.

They had the structure up and weather proofed in 3 days! Great way to build!
