I found Steffan at Two Teacher Construction to be very helpful and knowledgeable. I went with a PVC material that looks very nice. He identified some twisting in the structure of my old deck and corrected that with this new work. Overall, I am extremely pleased.

We love our new deck. It totally enhances the look of our house from the river. Many boaters have yelled “great deck” as they have passed by in their boats!!

From our first meeting with George to discus the new deck to the next get together with Tom the site manager and then through the tearout of the rotted wood deck to the replacement of the support beams and Timber Tech- we could not have been more impressed with how they discussed every detail, met potential challenges and then with precision installed the new deck. Steffan is organized and efficient. He does not try to sell you anything you are not interested in, but rather presents options that fit your needs and desired look. The vast collection of pictures and the Two Teacher Construction website gives the customer several ideas of what the product will look like.After installation, Steffan made sure that the rail was also installed well and communicated with us about finishing the rail that he was not happy with the quality. We would definitely recommend him (and have!) to friends!

Excellent craftsmanship and amazing customer service

Two Teacher Construction has a highly organized and hard working team. It is clear that Steffan, the owner, knows his product and has been doing this a long time. And he is on-site lead as part of the install team. The installation of the Azek re-decking and Westbury railing was meticulous. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Once again Brawner did a terrific job on my deck project! Great communication throughout the project from estimate to installation, workers were punctual, hardworking and considerate and great follow-up with a post-job visit/inspection. Highly recommended!

Deckscapes now xScape was amazing to work with from start to finish. They listened to what we disliked about our space and how we really wanted to use it. The design they came up with was better than we could have imagined. After some fine tuning construction actually started earlier than we expected. In order to not lose time xScape cleared out our previous screened porch and place everything carefully on the patio. The amount of care and thought behind their placement of our belongings (not blocking walkways, the hot tub, etc) was really impressive. Along the way we had questions and concerns. They answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns (drainage due to some change in grade during construction, replacement of the removed walkway etc.) promptly and professionally. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that the design they created became a reality that had the entire neighborhood talking.

Upgraded our screened in porch from treated lumber to composite decking. The deck and stairs were rebuilt and feels much sturdier than it previously did. I’m really happy with it!

After my initial phone conversation with Aaron, it became clear he would reach out to me or swing by to check on things. The crew worked consistently, diligently, and methodically with great attention to detail all the way through. We had a big project, and Aaron and his crew took the worry out the entire process, from idea to 3D plans to scheduling cement work, all the material deliveries, construction, to ultimately final inspection. They were also respectful of all the properties surrounding us. Phenomenal attention to detail in the initial plans that was also demonstrated throughout construction. They really took care of us through the whole process.
