The project required a few site-built elements that were tricky to plan, let alone implement. In response, Gianna introduced us to Darren, a master carpenter. Clean & Safe - Construction is messy; it just is. With that said, the care and concern Melton exercised during the project made a huge difference at the end. Zipper walls and Ram Board are a big deal and Melton did not skimp when it came to protecting my home. Clean up at the end of each work day not only made for a more pleasant experience, it allowed the teams to more accurately assess progress and address issues.

I worked with Adrian Wisniewski. He was the first person we spoke with, and he is the main reason we chose to work with Meltion Design Build. I did a lot of research online, and Melton Design Build was one of the few companies we chose to set up an appointment with. Some project managers just walked around, but when Adrian walked in, he asked if he needed to take off his shoes when coming into our home. I noticed his shoes were very clean, and he didn't want to mess up the customer's house.

We are so grateful to have Melton in our lives. Our complex ADU project literally would not have been built if not for our team's creativity, perseverance, ingenuity, innovation, and flat out hard work over a long two-year process. They designed and built not only an elegant piece of architecture that blends beautifully with our existing space, but also helped us expand our home just as we envisioned. Adrian, Ryan, Jess, Reed, and Simon were the ideal team to lead our project, we are so so so appreciative of all their enthusiasm and support throughout our project (especially Adrian and Reed's ever-patient indulgence of having to continually quell our anxieties and answer a million questions!).

Our project started in March 2020 and Melton did and impressive job keeping us in schedule through a very difficult and unpredictable period of time. People who see our house cannot believe the transformation in such a short timeline. We love their work and their process.

While we had minor hurdles to solve, it is a creative and technical process and some messiness is expected. Melton made a great house!

When our job was finished I was sad to see them go, glad to no longer have construction going on in my home, but sad to not see the people each day.

Great company for all inclusive service (architect, design and construction) and we were very happy with results. Wonderful core group of carpenters and project managers/contractor. Very trustworthy, organized, and excellent work. Only downside is that you are paying a fair bit more for these services than other companies/contractors.

Not only did Melton agree with our approach, they held us to our commitments. Design quality is good. We have used Melton for multiple remodel projects. They get better with each interaction. Since we stayed in our home during each project, the interaction with the team is crucial to keeping our sanity!

Melton excels in its craftsmanship and interior design. It would have been difficult and laborious for us to find the level of expertise we received for our remodel. We did have challenges and frustrations with the sales and project management side of the house due to vague communication, misaligned priorities, and a lack of urgency to complete the project.

This was our second Melton project. Everything came out great again. They are a pleasure to work with and the finished product is everything we wanted.

From start to finish, working with Melton Design Build has been an extremely gratifying, fun experience. Our remodel goal was to create a large kitchen, dining and living space for our family to enjoy. The end result is more wonderful than we had envisioned - we love our new space! We were walked through the project with a high degree of professionalism combined with personal warmth. We worked with Steven, our project coordinator, and Claire, our designer, to get our arms around the scope of the project, our style and a budget. Claire presented us with several excellent options for floor layouts. One idea was so inventive and perfect that we could not imagine not executing on it. And she hit on our style quickly, making material selections remarkably easy. Our team approach to brainstorming the details resulted in some amazing touches that make everything extra-special. Steven was the glue that held everything together with his many years of experience being a liaison between the planning, budget and working crew. The crew, headed up by our project manager, Mike N, had skills that resulted in very high-quality finishes. Each person who came to our home was personable and considerate. Everyone listened well and followed through with our requests. We were especially impressed with Mike W, our head carpenter, and Diego, man of all trades, who made sure every request or question we had was attended to, even if it was not in their realm. Of high importance, the budget and time frame for the project were laid out realistically, and both of those goals were met exactly. Excellence all the way around is the best summation of our experience with Melton.

Melton did a beautiful full-house remodel of our 1960's ranch. We are really enjoying our "new" home.

We are absolutely over the moon with our entire experience with Melton. This was our first experience building a custom home and we have always heard the horror stories about how the process is very stressful. That was not the case for us, we had a great time working with the Melton Team. They made the entire process very easy, learning our style and tailoring everything to us, making all the selection decisions so easy. They stuck to the budget and we didn't have any big surprises with extra costs and even finished about a month ahead of schedule. Don't be scared of the fixed price system, we had friends building at the same time with other companies and after going over budget with almost every subcontractor they had wished they just locked in a fixed price. It will save you a lot of stress during the process. We can't say enough about our experience, we even left the country for 7 weeks during the build and did not have to worry about overseeing the project because we knew we were in good hands. On budget, on time, with a quality, beautiful finished product. Thanks Melton!
