KT Homes built my home and it was a great success

Overall very satisfied with the build of the home. All needs and wants were met, along with some exceeding expectation. Will, and do, refer to all who ask "who is a good builder?" Can not say enoigh good things about the experience of building our brand new custom home. Recommendations from Kent on materials, his experience with how certain things worked well or not was greatly appreciated. Kent usually isn't the foreman on these jobs, but when he needed to step up and do the job, he did, and he did it well.

It’s hard to say when the options are so limited in Carlsbad. I definitely do not holding anything back and have warned others of the total incompetence and extreme lack of professionalism of the KT Homes staff & Owner.

As always, the top builder in terms of construction techniques, price and just overall value. The bang for the buck isn't always where you can see and touch it, but the super low utility bills will last forever ($15 first month electric bill? Crazy!). Thanks, KT.

Satisfied and pleased with KT Homes and home build experience

We recently retired in California and were looking to move to a place with affordable housing in a good community with great weather, a diverse culture, good restaurants and retail stores, a college town and a vibrant arts/live-music offerings. We chose KT Homes because they offer excellent quality homes that are very energy efficient with refrigerated air conditioning which is very important during hot weather spells. Our experience working with Joe Koerper as KT Homes sales representative was terrific and he went out of his way to offer excellent customer service during our moving/transition process. I recommend KT Homes because they have decades of new home building experience in New Mexico at a very fair price which meets our definition of great value.

We had an excellent experience with KT homes, they were always professional and attentive. Our house what exactly what we expected.

Were great to work with, allowed us to build where we wanted and even though we started out with one of their floor plans they worked with us to alter, add and make changes to the plan to get the perfect layout we wanted. This is not the first home builder we have built within Las Cruces, but they have been the easiest to work with and they did not charge ridiculous prices on every little thing like some builders. We love our energy efficient home!!

I am highly upset because we have been told since May that the curb appeal that KT owns that's right next to our property will be fix and it is November still not fix on top of that our brick fence is already separated underneath because they did not build our fence right now its unsafe for me to walk on the other side of my house outside because the ground is sinking in I have called the manger Joe so many time and keep getting different dates when it will be fix and he have not done anything. In addition our second bathroom shower faucet is loose was told in June the would be back to fix never came back called Joe said he would send someone to fix and still no one have came. Then our home had mitch matching faucets in the bathrooms it took 4 months for Joe to finally send someone and that's after he fixed the other 3 new neighbors house . Right across our property is more tall weeds that our neighbors told us they've been waiting 2 years for KT home to fix and Joe has promised them several times as well and he hasn't done NOTHING I AM HIGHLY UPSET IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS and all those weeds and the separation of our fence makes our yard look awful and then when it rains all the mud was washed in the street had to call Joe again he finally sent someone but then they dumped all the mud in out yard making it look even worse.

If they don’t care for quality workmanship of home, maybe.

The realtor, Joe Koerper, was instrumental in showing us the property and helping us through the process. The builder was really nice and courteous. He helped us out at closing. Also, the foreman was instrumental in fixing things that needed to be fixed on the punchlist.

For the area and construction companies available they were an acceptable option for what we wanted.
