They are priced correctly, flexible (willing to address requested changes on the fly), knowledgeable, well trained workforce and highly professional. Will be our go to for future projects. At a minimum, would suggest everyone that is entertaining a project, discuss with them!

We recently completed a major exterior renovation with KLM, new siding, windows, doors, replacing our old wood deck with a composite covered porch, plus a new front portico, and we couldn’t be happier. These kinds of projects always come with unexpected hiccups, and with all the rain we had during the build, communication was the most important factor. KLM did a great job keeping us updated and staying as close to schedule as possible. We were having a pool installed at the same time by a different contractor, and the difference in communication and overall experience was night and day, far less frustration with KLM and a much more satisfying project experience overall.

The quality of the work is wonderful; our curb appeal is now off the charts and multiple neighbors have already asked who we used. We absolutely love the covered back porch and use it constantly. Highly recommend KLM!

My project was to improve and update a house built in 1973 for our family to live in. I am fortunate to have been able to work with KLM Contractors. The finished project is an amazing transformation and the process was an enjoyable experience. Each and every aspect, from repairing wear and tear from the past 50 years to the new finishing details was done to the highest standard. The flow of the work, once started, continued without interruption. All materials necessary, including those needed for repairing the unexpected "finds" associated with an older house, arrived on site in an impressive logistical flow. We first reached out to KLM to do our James Hardie siding in spring 2020 however due to the covid shut down we decided to hold off. Fast forward to fall 2024 and they’ve just finished an absolute masterpiece of a job. Despite material costs skyrocketing since then due to inflation (which increased our project cost by easily 40%) it was well worth every penny. We were impressed and put at ease with how knowledgeable Maciej and Luke were and felt immediate confidence in their expertise and advice, even down to suggesting the color. I’m a very skeptical person by nature but never once with Luke or Maciej did I feel the slightest indication that they were being anything but completely honest and authentic with us, a total class act. I work in a field where I repair and customize brass musical instruments so I have an obsessive eye for quality and craftsmanship. The level of detail on every facet of our house, even in spots that are almost impossible to see, were impecible. They had multiple crews working who all specialized in different areas and were all meticulous & clearly experts in their specific skillsets. They worked into the evening almost every day and their professionalism was more than we could have asked for. We were honestly expecting our house to look like a war zone until it was done but at the end of every day the crew took the time to pick up every speck of debris, pack everything up and even sweep! I know this all seems over the top but honestly, as with most homeowners who go into renovation projects like this, it comes with a lot of anxiety and stress but with KLM that all quickly evaporated. To summarize we feel incredibly fortunate to have found Maciej & Luke and look forward to working with them on our future window replacement and deck projects. We won’t be shopping around this time as we know we’ll get artisan level work at a fair and honest price. They may be hard to reach sometimes but rest assured they will always get back to you. They’re a small family business and are extremely busy so be patient, hang in there, trust me you’ll be glad you did… I know we are.

I was an educated consumer/quasi-stucco remediation expert when I realized that I had a significant stucco/water penetration issue at our home that was built 33 years ago. Unfortunately, I saw way too many stucco repair projects where purported stucco contractors were merely fixing the cosmetic issues at the home, without addressing the root cause of the problem. When you don’t fix the root cause of the problem, the moisture issues will resurface in time. I have seen it time and time again.

I interviewed a lot of stucco contractors and received formal Proposals from most. When I met with Maciej and questioned him thoroughly while walking around my house, he quickly Aced my test questions. He clearly understood the difference between performing stucco repairs at my home and remediating the issue. KLM will likely not be your cheapest option, but they are thorough, professional and their crews are the most professional in the industry and the work they do is impeccable. They have expert crews who handle specific aspects of each part of the remediation project. They have specialists.

One crew is solely responsible for installing the scaffolding. Another performs the removal of the stucco. Another repairs all of the rotted wood and wraps the house. Another handles the removal and installation of any windows and doors that need to be replaced. Another Crew handles the installation of the siding. Another crew handles all of the finish work. All of the work was expertly performed. The Crews were amazing and did their best not to disturb our busy lives in the almost three months that they were at our house. We had no issue giving them access to our home while we were at work.

Our house had extensive water penetration damage, as anyone can see from the project photos. BTW - the Crews took photos every day showing the issues with the house and how they were fixed. Many contractors told me that they didn’t need to pull the windows, even though the root cause of much of the water penetration was due, to a great extent, from the builder improperly flashing the windows. Don’t for a minute think that you can resolve the water penetration issue without pulling the windows.

Our house is now watertight and beautiful. KLM took all of the necessary steps to correct the issues with our home. Neighbors now walk by our house and compliment us on how beautiful the house looks. We choose Hardie Board for our siding and couldn’t be happier.

I hired KLM to complete the exterior siding, and windows on my home after I signed a contract with with another contractor for the interior renovation. The difference between KLM and the other contractor was noticed in every area of the renovation. KLM was timely, the workmanship was excellent, their workers cared about the end product. They follow through on everything they said they were going to do. They came early in the morning, 830 and worked until dark. This was in February. I’d like the relationship that I developed with both owners of the company they listened, answered all my questions, and took the time to discuss the job whenever needed.
