Reliable working crew.

We had to have a crew come back and fix the work within 3 months. I am hesitant to have an opinion until I know this second adjustment works or not.

The first time I used GL Hunt for foundation repair I was very please that I recommended to friends and family. The second time I feel the quality of work wasn't the same as the first time. ON the side of the house in which ground was dug out the dirt was not put back and also an underground wire was left on top of the surface and dug out like it was found. Also under the concrete foundation was dug out and the piers were installed. Where the original asphalt driveway was dug there was some new asphalt laid down. After settling there was some divots created. When I called to address it foreman said that was not their job to smooth out or refinish any of the applied asphalt. Any settling or newly created divots after their work should be remedied. Disappointed. Possibly choosing another company moving forward.

Gave me the wrong quote to start, changed the original layout to give me same price. Almost installed the wrong support material, no professional came out to check the work. Left a huge mess under the deck, cut support beams and didn’t replace; didn’t cover the holes they made, didn’t replace most of the screws and left trash.

Expensive and surprise upcharges.

My verdict is still out. I will need to be able to hire an engineer to come look at what was done and tell me if the work is correct.

We have used G.L.Hunt Foundation Repair for all of our foundation needs. We were particularly happy with the work they did this time. They had to bore through the concrete on our porch and patch the excavated areas. The team worked so hard all day in the heat and left our yard and flowerbeds returned to as normal as possible.

We've had them back twice now to make adjustments, and we still are seeing some movement in the foundation to this day. The foreman on the job told us there was no house that is 100% level. They just do the very best they can to bring it as close to the original as possible.

G.L Hunt Foundation Repair completed a poor job which required them to come back out multiple times. The work wasn't completed properly which caused me to hire another company to complete the work.

There was a lack of communication

I have regretted using GL Hunt. I selected because Ben sold us on the caulking and crack repair. Ultimately I could have had better repair and paid a few hundred to have cracks filled. am a realtor and have relationship with other companies so I should have known better than to try someone new.

Your “production” was a huge problem at our home. This has been expressed with Chris.

I didn't realize we were going to lose all our landscape. They broke plugins in our backyard. They were hard to work with. They did a good job with the leveling but it was all the extra stuff. We didn't know we had to pay the gas company separately and we thought the plumber was free when it wasn't. They had to pull up part of our deck to get to the foundation. They cut the supports and did not reattach them to the deck, and we had to get it fixed ourselves. They put concrete bags on our deck and then it rained. When they picked the bags up, they marred the paint.

After my 3rd transaction with them I have always been impressed with their work

They put the piers in the wrong place, they dug an extra hole, they tore up my carpet and they refused to replace the carpet.

They had to seal the foundation. They didn't compact the dirt, and every time I have rain, I have water running under the foundation. I had a big crack in the home. The house was OK, but the compaction was the problem. They had to put like a soft soil— garden dirt—in there, and there's no garden dirt that would work—I don't know if it's a mistake or something like that. It was not really good. I would not recommend them to somebody. I would say they're a D. The guy was like the middle-man, and once everything was done, he just left me alone, and I was dealing with the company for a long time. The punctuality was better; the guys, they came on time, but they did the job in a couple of hours—I don't think the foundation should be done that quick. They were definitely clean; that wasn't bad, I don't think.

They were very efficient; they did the job quickly, and as expected. I'd give them an A+. I did have to have them come back, and put the dirt back. I would recommend them.

The concrete—where they had to break it up for the garage door—is flaking real bad, but I guess I can get that fixed up. They picked up a slab on the corner of the house. I'd give them a B. Customer service was good; punctuality was real good. Pretty good.

All I can say is they were timely. The salesman came out, spoke to us, gave us a lot of information of what to look for, what he was doing. He explained each step and the pricing. When we checked the pricing, they were very competitive. His professional call was—Anyway, when they came out to do the service, they arrived on time, on schedule. They did the work promptly. They didn't damage the property. I can't find anything to complain about. I hate to give people a 100 percent but yet, like I said, I couldn't find anything wrong with what they did so I would put them at an A. I was happy with the whole experience. I have recommended them.

Heath and his crew were good, and they did it. I did not like the plumbing company at all that they referred. I had to get my own plumber, and I felt—I just had problem after problem with that plumbing company. I felt that they weren't honest with me, and when I got another opinion, it was grossly different than theirs—on so many levels. So, I'd give G.L. Hunt an A. I've already referred twice.

They did an excellent job. They were extremely courteous and very, very helpful—they explained in detail what they were doing, and they didn't raise any false expectations. They told me exactly what the situation was and what I could expect, and they did such a good job that I actually went back to them for a major plumbing repair. That was even bigger than my foundation job, and they did an absolute excellent job on that, too. A+—I was really impressed with G.L. Hunt, truly was. I would absolutely recommend them.

After work, he came and inspected it to make sure it was done right. They actually pulled city permits so they weren't doing, you know, fly-by-night kind of stuff. I'd give them an A. They left trash in my backyard, though—their lunches.

They were just good. For foundation repair, I didn't have any problems with them or anything. I'd probably give them a B; It was good work. I don't actually see what was done—because something was done underneath under my house, and I didn't go down to look, so I don't really know.
