Overall, we are thrilled with our home. The build quality stands out. And it so amazing to have a home that is just as we envisioned!

The subcontractors did a horrible job with paint, trim, and drywall. Paint splatter all over the floors and carpet. Trim had holes and no filler. Drywall on pantry was off plumb.

Moving the water around the property and handling the store run off.

They met all their deadlines & attempted to listen to questions...the overall construction was sound & I am happy with my home..... the club house promise is very disappointing....perhaps the EG liaison & the developers liaison need to have better communication... this gap is frustrating, to me, as a homeowner.. thank you

Lovely models and floor plans to chose from especially ranch style homes. The homes are sturdy and reasonably priced.

We did have an issue with the lack of choices for paint color and fixtures. However, we will, and have, recommended EG to other potential home buyers. Our overall experience was very positive. Everyone from EG and all their contractors were great. We really felt there was a desire by all involved to satisfy us. Any/all issues and concerns were addressed promptly and professionally. We are very happy with our new home and have absolutely no regrets making this move.

We would recommend EG Stoltzfus for anyone looking to build a home in the area. The cost was appropriate for the quality of the home we have now. The process was easy and everyone we worked with was knowledgeable and friendly. Our home was complete well within the timeline we were given.

EGStolzfus was very easy to deal with throughout the process. The customer service was exemplary from beginning to end. They were responsive to our concerns and met every commitment. Schedules were met and the closing process smooth.

Our build stayed on time even in the midst of the pandemic where supply issues were common. We felt like we were updated thoroughly on the actual construction part of the build. Our house is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for!

From start to finish the people we worked with where great, the especially Gordon. He always answered our emails or phone messages and was great to talk with.

The construction was excellent but there were some issues of concern as outlined below.

I have done the exact opposite since we have completed our build I would never want anyone that I care about to do business with EG. With the current market several friends have come to me and asked about my experience, I've told them all the same thing which is try their luck with another builder and don't risk signing with EG Stoltzfus.

A lot of things had to be taken care of after we moved in.

We found EGStolzfus easy to work with. We are very happy with our home. The issues that we have are relatively minor, and since this was our first new home I may be overly critical of some things.

The sales process was very smooth and the house was finished on schedule. After closing support has been very good.

The finished project was exactly what I was hoping for.

Good quality construction. Easy to work with sales associate Bobby Argento.

Was told the mud would be covered with straw mulch didn’t happen. Had problems with hardwood flooring. Microwave is still not been replaced. Problem with siding. Fell like it was slap the house together to meet the time frame not do a quality job from start to finish

Absolutely! They build quality homes!

If you want a project completed on time with general good quality, EG Stoltzfus can fit the bill. If you want to have interaction with the builder during the building process or input into the design/options beyond the standard choices then this is not the builder for you. EGS builds what they offer, for the prices they quote (and increase along the way) and are largely unwilling to make customer requested adaptations.

There were some options of the house that were skipped over during the design process that would have been nice to know. for example the front door not having windows or a deadbolt, also the garage door not being insulated. These options were not mentioned to us and now we have to pay extra to have them done after the fact.

Lots of shoddy work, including hunks out of the wood, and then just painted over.

I found Craig and Stephanie very helpful in my decision to build this house.

They knocked it out of the park as far as the actual finished living area. My issues are with the lack of holding their subcontractors to the same standard on the mechanicals and appliances as the actual end structure outcome. I would have easily given them 5 stars had there been any focus on how the mechanicals are run in the basement. Whatever was the easiest for them to run the water and air conditioning was fine on the final walk through. I really wonder if it is all really code compliant, more to come on that? If you want to finish the basement to the full level of the ceiling, good luck. It will cost thousands of $$ to come close. LH Brubaker is a complete nightmare on the appliances. I would never recommend them for anything. Everything is the fault of Covid 19 and they have zero responsibility for anything. If it was just us I would say okay maybe a bad experience. But every neighbor I talked to had the same experience and when I called EG, they said I had to deal with their captive vendor. I did and I am done with LH Brubaker forever. Beautiful house, great location, just expected a little more when spending what we did. Very responsive on follow up to issues but zero follow up to see if the outcome was acceptable to their valued customer. In my line of business, I am responsible for the service and job my vendors do! We love the location and the house, we were expecting a little more from all of the feedback I had gotten from others on EG. I think they are trying to build too many houses too quickly.

The process from start to finish was horrible with customer service and follow-through.

We have certainly had our problems but EG has tried to solve them and for that we are thankful. Now that our year warranty has expired , we trust that they will follow through with the identification of the cause and remedying our moisture problem made evident in the cupping of our hardwood floor and replacing it. We are still looking forward to getting our powder room flooring temporarily replaced so that our toilet can be reseated and usable after 4 months of being torn up. Our recommendation can change depending on how our situation is finally resolved.

I moved in last September and I did not asked them to come in to fix anything. The dishwasher was not hooked up the dryer was not connected to the fuse box. It was not ready for me when I moved in. The toilet overflowed and it was a disaster. I have had trouble two times. I have paid all those time and never reimbursed. They had to put in a new flusher. They were very difficult to get a hold of and I spend $1000 to fix the issue and I thought it was not right for a new build. I did not asked them to fix it, but I feel like it was not as I would have liked. I should have been paid for the issue that was out of my control. They all added up and it was expensive.

The overall buying experience has been positive, with a result we are happy with!

Craftsmanship is exceptional. Quality build home at an affordable price.

It takes the company a very long time to fix something and they don't always do it right.

It's a great neighborhood and a nice assortment of home styles with a lot of nice people involved.

Some minor issues but overall good builder and company.

Very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the entire process from beginning to end: sales, construction, delivery and beyond. Among the best we’ve ever seen!

We will be sure to tell them to not be afraid to ask any questions and look at all their home options as there are many to choose from.

I would recommend them to anyone who is going to build, I thought they were great.

It was an easy process going through building a new home. They were very cooperative when we asked questions and needed anything to be done.

As noted below:Craig Smoot was a pleasure to work with. He was a significant help in the entire process. Debbie Meenan has always been pleasant and responsive. The members of the design team that assisted us also were helpful. The exterior of the house reflects the good choices the entire EGStoltzfus team helped us make.

I would give EG Stoltzfus three stars because the only issue we had was we were promised at closing things and they weren't done in a timely manner.

I was very disappointed with the overall finish of the home. Based on the reviews we read, EGStoltzfus did not meet our expectations.

We have had almost no problems with the construction of our home and anything that did crop up was immediately repaired or checked.

I would certainly tell them there were things that I was not appreciative of. I would warn them of those things.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the timely completion of the project. The quality of material and craftsmanship was commendable.

It took 6 weeks to resolve an issue in my kitchen. I had no kitchen sink for 2 weeks.
