Norman Lambright, operating as E&R Aluminum, is perhaps the best contractor I've hired in the 24 years I've owned my 64-yr-old house. He built a pool enclosure for me to replace the one destroyed by Hurricane Ian. It is beautiful and robust, with clean lines and three perfectly hung doors of varying widths per my requests. I'm as pleased as I can be with the enclosure Norman and his two superb employees built.

This was a complex project and I was turned down by the several other contractors who came out to my house or looked at numerous photos I texted them. I mentioned to my handyman my frustration in trying to find a willing company and he instantly suggested I contact Norman. He said there's no one better, that Norman is extraordinarily skilled and meticulous in his work and that I would like him.

Norman spent more than an hour studying the project and then said he could do it. I saw in Norman a very intelligent man, a straight shooter and friendly. In clear language he explained the project's complexities, and where today's more stringent code requirements than those of the original design would require improved materials and time-intensive solutions. (During construction I saw that one these required improvements took a whole day to accomplish.)

Taking all of Norman's explanations into mind (I had no quibble with any of them; in fact I was pleased to hear that everything would be done as it should be done) I was preparing for the price of the project to make my knees buckle, but it didn't. It seemed very fair and when the project was completed I was certain it was.

So...,Norman and his two very amiable craftsmen, Sean and Laban, worked all day on eight or nine consecutive business days to build a fine pool enclosure that I'm quite sure is perfect in every place down to the fraction of an inch. I mean, I was very impressed by the complexity of the blueprints Norman had drafted specifically for my project -- on several giant pages -- and his and his crew's frequent referral to them as they worked. I was very impressed with the sureness and the efficiency of the crew's work mode, and I am thoroughly satisfied with the end result.

By the way, Norman told me I won't have to worry about high winds tearing my enclosure off the pool deck. (He showed me the upgraded beefy screw anchors locking the frame down to the river-rock deck.)

Norman Lambright and crew were very professional. Their proposal was sent for review. The project was modified to enclose an area with a wall on the outer part of our lanai in addition to extend the lanai with a roof over 5/8th of the patio. Norman provided detailed drawings and secured all of the county approvals before beginning. Then he contacted the county officials when inspections were needed. He received approvals in a timely fashion and the project progressed smoothly. We are very satisfied with the result and enjoy sitting outside under the roofed in area on both sunny and rainy days.

Overall a great experience. We requested and received a unique design. Norm listened and accepted the input and feedback to design. Norm communicated delays and when he would be coming to the house. Overall finished construction looks beautiful.

Norm is a man of his word! He was a gentleman, communicated throughout the process & did everything as promised! His workmanship was wonderful! We are very satisfied with Norm's work & honesty!

Wish I could give Norm 100 stars. I needed to replace my lanai but wasn't sure how large the replacement should be. Norm worked with me in stages. First he demolished the existing structure, then we walked through the options for the final. He carefully explained the pros and cons and the benefits of each. He gave me careful advice and wasn't pushy, He is organized, professional and always left the site clean. He provided detailed estimates, was responsive and returned calls and email same day. Oh, and did I mention…his work is impeccable. I have a beautiful new lanai that adds to the appearance and my enjoyment of my house. Thank you Norm!

I would recommend E & R Aluminum to anyone because they followed through with what they said they would do. We did do some shopping and their prices were very compatible. We got more than what we paid for because they did an excellent job. We do not have any complaints. They thoroughly accomplished everything that they said they would do in a timely and efficient manner.
