I would not recommend your company (and have, in fact, effectively dissuaded people from using your company for plumbing and sewer repairs) because I was quoted an egregiously overpriced repair for a slightly sagging sewer line that you also told me “needed to be done immediately or the pipes in [my] basement will backup, burst and become a hazardous mess within days.” I was also charged over $800 simply to run a camera from my powder room out to my sewer trap (about 20 feet) and for you to essentially simply plunge a clog in the sewer trap pipe. Well, I had another company come out the very next day who was recommended by a private adjuster I used for a home insurance repair in the past and not only did they do the same diagnostic camera work for free, but they informed me that while my sewer line was sagging a bit, the repair was by no means an emergency and could wait for months so I could have the time to manage by budget to be able to pay for the repair without having to sacrifice things such as paying for my essential medical care for complications due to a permanent disability (a sacrifice that could have ultimately been life threatening). In addition to all that, the other, very highly reviewed and recommended company’s quote for the exact same dig repair to the sewer line, including redoing the concrete and landscape work, was over 40% less than Donnelly’s quote (we’re taking thousand and thousands of dollars less). The Donnelly’s jerk knew full well the medical and financial situation I was in and unconscionably used fear, scare tactics and lies just to try to make a sale. I don’t know how you all live with yourselves. Here we are a year later, I haven’t had the repair done, yet there has been no such disaster as the one that the Donnelly’s repair guy “assured” me would happen “very soon.” I’m forever grateful to the awesome other plumbing company and kind man they sent to help me for their help, honesty, reassurance, and fair pricing quote. Without them I may not be alive today because had I let your company scare me into pulling the trigger that day to start repairs right away, I would not have been able to afford my medical care because all the money I had for the latter would have ended up in your deceitful, manipulative hands. I plan to have the repair done in the next month or two and will happily pay the other company to do it (heck—I’d happily pay any other company than yours).

All my experiences with Donnelley's have been positive, including the last time they came out. What I like most is that the technician took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything in detail.

I have been using Donnelly for the past three years and have the full device contract. So far all work has been satisfactory to outstanding. I had another plumber who does good work, is much cheaper, but a bit undependable. so far, I am impressed with Donnelly’s quick response, quality of work and caring/knowledgeable technicians, especially those noted in question 11.

I was on the service plan. My AC Tune-up was included in the plan. As I did the tune-up they proceeded to try to upsell me on a number of different services and upgrades. I had another reputable company come out for an AC Tune Up and they didn’t mention any of those things. They also tried to sucker me into a sewer line replacement plan that would have ultimately continually cost me more money. This was prior to the AC Tune up. The service plan was a sham to sucker me into spending more money than was necessary. I’ll never use them again.
