The preliminary pricing and plans were transparent, the project began when promised, the contractors arrived in mass on time, and any changes, edits, issues were addressed cooperatively. The final product was more than we dreamed! Mark and his architect took an idea for an addition and it became a beautiful indoor/outdoor space!

Unless you are someone who constantly changes their mind, I don't see how they cannot bring your vision to life. The contract, which protects them AND you, was detailed and precise. You know exactly what you are getting when you get to the point of signing it. Are they the cheapest? No. Do you get exactly what you pay for? Absolutely. Were there any hidden surprises? No. Would I recommend them? Without a doubt and already have!

Mark delivered what was expected even with the limited input we gave, he designed and built what what we wanted and the replacement portico provided definite added value to our home. While we have a handsome kitchen and laundry room remodel, the process and experience to get there was not easy. Our time investment was substantially higher than one would anticipate by hiring a project manager. We interviewed several different contractors for our renovation. We chose Distinctive Remodeling Solutions because Mark, the owner, provided us with the most upfront information and provided us with an initial vision of the direction we would go in. We also had an opportunity to meet with the kitchen designer from Inspirations and the interior designer from MODA before making a commitment which was critical. Their joint vision helped us to move forward with Mark. We are not disappointed. The subcontractors were marvelous and designed us a home that we never anticipated and one that we could never do on our own! The renovation took 4 months and it went so smoothly which is a tribute to Kane, the on-site project manager, who excels at organization and coordination. He also has a very keen eye and wants everything to be "perfect" and wants the client to be "pleased". We are very pleased with our decision to work with Distinctive Remodeling Solutions and would definitely use them again.

The demo is dirty, long, and not easy to live thru. We were prepared for the ups and downs, but it is still a difficult time. In the end we love the bathroom, so we are happy.
