I have had 2 companies work for me through Best Pick. I am dealing with one of them now, and they do excellent work and try to accommodate your wants and needs. It seems as though you can get in touch with someone if you have a problem. A lot of companies are spread too thin. I had a roof replaced by someone that was not in Best Pick. He said it was because he had to pay and refused. I did not realize they had to pay. I found that he had good reviews with Angi for roof replacement, but when I committed myself to the project, there were other people in my neighborhood replacing their roofs. When my roof was done there was only one person doing it, and it leaked months later. You can't really depend on reviews. I want to be very confidential here, but I am finding that a lot of construction companies have people that have good reviews online while having problems.

Whenever we need something done around the house, we always check Best Pick Reports before choosing a company.

Most places that I call don't service my area. I haven't had much success, except for one time. I get it for my county, but when you call, they always say they don't come to my area.

I don't really see that much of an advantage to using BPR other than it being a time saver. It helps you get started in finding a service. I don't know if they follow up when people do not do a good job.

I get another publication for this area, but Best Pick Reports is the best of the two. The other one I am going to discontinue; I don't need it. The stuff I need and try to find is in Best Pick Reports.

In fact, I called them. There was a number on the back that I called because I had not gotten one. I called, and they made sure I was on the list to get the publication. I am on the mailing list to get them and don't have to call, which is great because I check it all the time.

There is a company in there that I need to call because I need a gutter. 
It is a great report, and I've told other people and looked up stuff for other people in there to tell them who are listed. So far, I have found out that they have been good references!

I have used Best Picks to find vendors for a decade now and found the vendors to be very dependable. I also found the information on the projects and options to solve problems very helpful.

I think most of the ratings are accurate. Some of the companies you should probably do a little extra research on.

There are many vendors to choose from. I am averse to a “best picks” list influencing consumers to only and always choose from a very short list.

I have used the Best Pick Reports for some work I had to do, and it was very helpful in providing me local contractors that could help and take care of my need.

The technician totally failed his diagnostics of my refrigerator's and freezer's problems. Charged me for a motherboard that worked for about three weeks. Did not fix the ice maker. Inserted two different motherboards on my freezer that did not work, came back for a third try with a helper who added a refrigerant that solved the problem. Repeated efforts to talk to his manager failed since he was always on "vacation." I guess the next step will be small claims court.

It has been very reliable. I have been using them for about 6 years, I believe.

I really like the book and have used it multiple times. The only people that are listed in some categories are the most expensive in town. It would be nice to have a dependable company that wasn't the most expensive company. The roof was a different color online, and it was a lighter color. Echol's Roofing Company was able to give me a discount because I wasn't happy with the color. I thought that was very kind of them because it was my own decision that I wasn't happy with. He just wanted to make me feel better.

The companies can be trusted if they are in the Best Pick Reports. They have been researched and are quality.

I wonder if Best Picks is a company that was created and asks businesses to pay to be rated and release to the public. I've never taken the time to research their independence to publish to make money. I am curious how legitimate the reviews are compared to the number of companies out there.

Whoever invented the Best Pick reports book was the best thing since sliced bread!

When I have used Best Pick Reports, the results have been very spotty. I honestly haven't used it in 2years. The number one pick turned out to be a nightmare. My last issue was resolved this past Spring.

The Best Pick Reports book is great and I use it all the time.
