They did a beautiful job of restoring and repairing our 30 year old pool, while also giving it some great new features and upgrades, like a new waterfall and tanning ledge.

The quality of the construction and the materials used were first rate. However because of the time of year the pool was constructed (fall), there are some issues that need to be resolved

We love our pool and A&S provided us with a high quality pool, but in the end, paying almost 100% of the cost up front and not having a completed pool for 16+ weeks when it was promised to be completed in 8 weeks, was not a good use of our cash. We were told that all of the work related to building our pool (except for the enclosure) would be completed by actual A&S employees. The aforementioned was totally false. Every company that showed up was a subcontractor.

The sales rep was very knowledgeable and really listened to us. Project management was good overall, and the sub-contractors they use are very good.

I have some cracking in the coping around my pool. I would need to have that fixed before I could recommend the company. I have submitted a warranty claim but the cracks in the coping continue to worsen as I wait to be scheduled.

Our project manager, Roy was very attentive to our needs and was very detailed on the process. He did not sugar coat anything which was refreshing...we knew what the obstacles could be so, we were never surprised.

If the friend was only requiring a pool, probably we would recommend them. Our A&S salesperson sold us on a complete backyard (fence, patio and additional garage). We were told by A&S that they were lucky to have such a good construction company working for them. We had 3 pools done by Anthony over the years and this was our 4th by A&S. Well, the construction company took a lot of our money and have not completed the work and we don't even hear from him. A&S says that they have nothing to do with the construction company and have totally left us to try to resolve it ourselves. We have also found another client with the very same problem. They vetted A&S but did not vet the construction company because A&S had good reviews. We have now hired an attorney to see what he can do.

Steven Lyszczyk (my on-site pool builder/manager - Charlotte, NC) was my trusted advisor from end-to-end. I appreciate that he was always sincere and gave me the information that I needed to know and not what I wanted to hear. His communication was timely and very responsive, especially when I needed to make a quick decision based on which sub-contractor was on site at any given phase of the project. This was the key to a successful project. The wrong partnership for a custom build could have been disastrous

design/ sales process with Andy was weakest point of the entire project with many miscommunications and omissions with respect to what is included in the bid and what is not. Took many hours and over 30 detailed emails to get it all straight and the A&S (Jeff Conway) basically told me they were no longer interested in working with me. I had to simply offer them my total budget to get it contracted and moving.

The team at A&S were very knowledgeable and responsive. From the design phase with Mitch Kammer, through the final steps with Phillip Laclair, it was a great experience.
