American Custom Contractors replaced the slate room on my 84-year old house and garage, complete with copper valleys and snow guards and replacing two roof windows. (Insurance paid for part due to damage from a tree limb, and I paid for part.) The initial staff I worked with,Cameron Giesman and Sharon Slocum were responsive and helpful. Once the project got underway, Aaron Horner and Blase Skully (the project manager) explained clearly how the work was going to be done. Blase especially had infinite patience and good humor as I asked him a million questions. The work was performed on schedule. The clean up each day and at the end of the job was good. In addition to the slate roof, there is a shingle roof on a small sun room in the back of the house. That roof had some damage from the tree limb, but insurance paid for only a small repair. When the repair was started, more damage was found, unrelated to the tree limb. Aaron suggested an economical and perfectly acceptable solution and we got the entire sun room roof replaced. Bottom line: The roof looks fantastic and I would highly recommend American Custom Contractors.

The ACC representative was slow, evasive, unwilling to respond quickly. He recommended to us NOT to show his estimates to Erie Ins before the latter would present their own estimates first. A a result (details are skipped here) Erie covered only half of our expenses on roofing. Not a small matter to us, retirees.

Did great job on roof and facade repair.

The employee who came out to fix the interior damage to my home left it a complete disaster and ruined the tile floor and the shower in my master bathroom. In addition, he destroyed the paint on the walls in the process of fixing the ceiling. After sending the requested photos of all of the additional damage that was caused, I was told that it needed to be seen in person. I set up a time for Frank to come see it and arranged my work schedule to be home. He did not show up and didn’t call until the time he was supposed to be arriving at my home. I was eventually told that ACC was taking responsibility for the damage they caused including painting all of the bedroom and bathroom walls, fixing the floor and the shower, and a date was arranged to complete the work. When this day arrived, the employee who came to do the work was told by Frank that he could only do touch up work and that he should not paint the walls, even though
