American Custom Contractors was the best company that we have worked with for anything related to our house. The employees and managers were all incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive to our questions, and they took the initiative to make sure that everything went smoothly and well. Our first contact was with Brad, who was the reason that we chose American Custom Contractors in the first place. He helped us with many details, he took the initiative to remind us when we needed to make some choices, he responded immediately to our questions or concerns, and he kept every promise that he made to help us through the process. Blase was also instrumental in our choosing this company. He came to our house to explain the whole process, followed up on answering our questions, was very friendly, and made sure the scheduling was on target. Aaron (sp) was also helpful and on top of the progress. In addition to those people who started the process, the people who actually put on the roof were very professional. They worked all day, late, in order to finish, they cleaned up everything afterward, they were polite and friendly, and they worked tirelessly, making sure that the difficult details of our roof were perfectly finished. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, since the entire process and the end result were amazing. I would use American Custom Contractors and recommend them again with no hesitation.

American Custom Contractors did a top-notch job replacing our roof. We are very pleased with the workmanship and look of our new Brava Cedar Shake roof. The team was very professional and responsive from the initial bid to job completion. Kudos to the sales and management team: Yanni, Aaron, Blase and Joel. I was extremely impressed by the tenacity, workmanship, attention to details and responsiveness of the on-site crew and their lead, Gabriel, as they worked under extreme weather conditions to complete the job. ACC did a great job from initial inspection and estimates on my house following damage from tornado that hit Cecil County April 1st, 2023 and throughout the extensive repairs to my house.
They also performed repairs to my next door neighbors house and it looks like we both received new houses.

ACC removed and replaced a large roof for my company’s nonprofit partner. Yanni, Belter, Aaron and Joel did a great job from start to finish!

Sales representative did not explain that the wood siding would not be capped. When I step back and look at my home, I think it looks terrible

They worked with my insurance & after approval did the new roof & rear siding very quickly & did excellent work on both and leaving the property just as they found but with a nice new roof & house siding.

The job was completed and looks nice; however, there were multiple issues with delays. American Custom Contractors did not complete a shingle match test timely which caused significant delays in the project, and they did not show up on the scheduled day/time twice (1-2 moth additional delay after the initial service scheduled day). In addition there were issues with my insurance and ACC that caused delays in the project and ultimate payment of the final invoice.

They did a great job and quicker than I expected. Also, took pictures of the completed work which I appreciate.

Hans was phenominal. Explained everything perfectly. I made the insurance claim and he and Marc Debellis literally did the rest. All I had to do was sign the checks and pick a color. Hans and Marc were available anytime I needed them at all and always provided an answer in a fast time frame.

American Custom Contractors replaced the slate room on my 84-year old house and garage, complete with copper valleys and snow guards and replacing two roof windows. (Insurance paid for part due to damage from a tree limb, and I paid for part.) The initial staff I worked with,Cameron Giesman and Sharon Slocum were responsive and helpful. Once the project got underway, Aaron Horner and Blase Skully (the project manager) explained clearly how the work was going to be done. Blase especially had infinite patience and good humor as I asked him a million questions. The work was performed on schedule. The clean up each day and at the end of the job was good. In addition to the slate roof, there is a shingle roof on a small sun room in the back of the house. That roof had some damage from the tree limb, but insurance paid for only a small repair. When the repair was started, more damage was found, unrelated to the tree limb. Aaron suggested an economical and perfectly acceptable solution and we got the entire sun room roof replaced. Bottom line: The roof looks fantastic and I would highly recommend American Custom Contractors.
