1-800 WATER DAMAGE mitigated water damage due to a frozen water pipe in my crawlspace. The job was done well.

The equipment was failing, and it added more damage. It took seven weeks to dry out my house.

This contractor did not complete the mold remediation. He over charged $10,000 for mold remediation yet I failed mold clearance test. They refused to complete the job even if I paid him extra money to complete. They pulled out all the equipment and deserted the job. Ron Wilder told me to hire another contractor to finish what they left. I Found out they did leave mold and other problems by subsequent contractors. Hence failure on mold clearance test. My condo was mostly water damage not mold. I have to pay out of pocket for mold left behind by 1-800 left after they deserted the job after they got to my policy limit of $10,000 of my Insurance claim.

1-800 Water Damage did a very thorough job with cleaning the mold in the bathroom & kitchen. However, the communication was not the best when it came to scheduling the machine readings of the mold level. I didn't know when they were coming to the house most days, which then delayed the process as well. Also, the team had to come back out a second time to clean the mold because it wasn't done correctly and failed the mold test.

They did a great job.

They skipped an entire room, in the center of the affected area.

During a unexpected winter storm I had a water pipe burst in my house as fid many other people. Once they had enough fans and dehumidifiers to take care of the problem they came right over and got everything set up quickly.

1-800 Water Damage were professional, on time, and considered of my concerns and needs. They worked in a timely manner.

They did a good job at finding all the moisture and showing us how bad it was. It was appreciated that a rep came out to explain the process with us as well, so we felt like they were being upfront. The only thing I wish they would have done is finish up some of the demo. A little was left afterward but overall was satisfied with all they did.

Additional Comments - Great service

They had to create a barrier to prevent the chemicals from getting into the house. I wish they had told me this ahead of time but they had to nail plastic into my wall. I wish I had known that before so I could have done something differently or known about it because now I have to get the wall repaired as well.

The technician's name was Jeff Edgemon. He did an outstanding job. There is nothing more he could have done to make it any better. He did great work.

The reason I gave them 3 rating on some things was because I had to point out to them to do certain things for the health and safety of the workers. The workers were nice, but I felt I had to point out things for the well being and the workers and myself.
