Partnership/Teamwork - When there were problems with the wrong door knobs for the cabinet they quickly ordered the correct ones...the panel on the cabinet had to be ordered since the cabinet was not for a drop in sink and had drawers in it. Steve kept in touch telling me when it would arrive and came and installed it himself the next day (in a snow storm. by the way!).

Our experience with Peacock from start to finish was professional, courteous, and transparent. We received exactly what we were looking for with our new kitchen and bathroom, and the project stayed on budget. The quality of materials, craftsmanship by the contractors and artisans, and communication flow between Peacock and us made the final product worth every penny.

Value - You get what you pay for, and while Peacock was more costly than other companies, the quality and craftsmanship were superb and well worth the price paid. The initial estimate was spot on for the final overall cost.

Areas Of Satisfaction - Trebor and the countertop installers identified a water leak at the end of the work day and immediately called a plumber out without hesitation. Trebor stayed late with the plumber until the issue was corrected, and then worked with us and Peacock to quickly schedule the associated repairs in order to limit any additional project delays.

Recognized Excellence - Trebor, the general contractor, was fantastic. His quality workmanship and attention to detail was second to none, and he was genuinely interested in ensuring we were happy with all aspects of the project as it progressed. Isabel was great in helping us through the initial design process and selecting materials, and provided us with great suggestions and options for materials without overwhelming us with too many choices.

Our rating here is 3.5. We had a difficult time getting along with with the designer who is no longer with Peacock. In addition, 1. there was a lack of transparency on the Initial Cost Assessment (ICA) of the projects. When the Project Proposal came in higher by 68%, I asked for the details of the ICA v Proposal by area so that we could make informed decisions on what to cut back on. Peacock was only willing to provide % changes which is meaningless without dollar values by major cost element. 2. There was a lack of teamwork of Peacock towards Maple & White - to the point of seeming like sabotage. 3. The overall quality and timeliness of some of the sub-contractors resulted in delays in the bathroom(s) project.

No surprises, changes discussed in advance. Focus on quality. Attention to keeping our home clean on a daily basis. Contract terms were mutually agreed upon. Responsive to questions and client needs. Team easy to work with. Overall project management was very good.
