This one-star rating has nothing to do with the quality of the installation or the roof itself, but the extremely poor communication from the company, starting the moment after we signed the contract. We were continuously left in the dark with regards to what was to come next, were constantly misinformed or entirely uninformed, and ultimately were only contacted to finish up the job after numerous complains.
The salesperson was not completely honest. I was told The Third estimate do not use subcontractor, but they did. I only saw one person from the company and the workers were Hispanic, and did not speak English, so I could not communicate with anybody, and that was a little frustrating, but we figured it out though.
Communication was great. The work was done quickly and professionally and they cleaned everything up afterwards!
Never give 5 stars
Truthfullness, ontegrity,quality of work
Greg Stahre came out to assess my roof; he was honest and knowledgeable. I did not need have to replace my roof at that time but with the experience I had with him, the price, quality I decided to move forward with them. From beginning to end they were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend this company to others.
Everything was handled very professionally.
This was, unfortunately, a very disappointing and difficult experience from start to finish. I’m not trying to be harsh, but since you asked for feedback, I think it’s important to be honest in a way that helps.
The process ended up taking nearly a year. When it began, I was about five months pregnant. By the time it wrapped up, I had delivered my baby and she was almost six months old. That wouldn’t have been such an issue if there had been consistent communication along the way, but that simply wasn’t the case. Communication was very poor throughout the majority of the experience, and at one point, even months(!) went by without hearing anything.
For example, here are just a few messages I sent to various team members:
Jul 18: “Curious next steps! Thanks!”
Jul 22: “Hi [NAME] – just following up”
Jul 24: “I’m just looking for next steps and an update please. I sent an email as well. Thank you!”
Jul 24 email: “Insurance claim update + next steps? I’m just looking for an update on my claim as insurance came out to look last week. I’m curious about the next steps and if anything is needed from me?”
Aug 14: “Just looking for a status update and if anything has been scheduled with insurance? Thank you!”
Oct 22: “I am due November 4th (first baby!) and just trying to wrap up as many loose ends as possible before that. Any update or anything else needed from me at this time?”
Oct 31: “Hello – just looking for an update please!”
Nov 18: “Hi Is there any update? Just curious if this is actually moving forward it’s been quite a while – thank you”
As you can see, I’m not exaggerating. Each time a rep changed, I had to essentially start over—new meetings, phone calls, paperwork. (By the way, I filled out that work authorization paperwork in-person at least four times due to your company not having it on file and errors on your end, and at one point I was told I wasn’t even in the system.) Having people at my door repeatedly while juggling a newborn was very difficult, especially during the early postpartum months. That’s why I had tried to wrap this up prior.
The positive side is that when I finally worked with Scott, things improved. He communicated, followed up, and helped move the project forward. The roof itself was completed, which we were very happy about. But then Scott was suddenly gone, with no explanation, and I was left getting immediate repeated texts and calls about paying the invoice—even mentions of "taking it to the next level"—before the final walkthrough with your team had even been completed. That was frustrating and disappointing, especially after a year of struggling to get any communication at all. And now everyone wants to get back to me and talk to me?
We did pay the invoice, and the work is done. The roof itself looks great—we are very happy with the finished product. I also shared our experience with someone on your team, and they kindly provided us with the next level of warranty on our roof for our troubles. That gesture is truly appreciated—thank you.
That said, based on the overall experience, we would not feel comfortable recommending your company. I say that regretfully, because I do wish you the best and I understand there may have been turnover or internal challenges. From a customer standpoint, though, the lack of communication, repeated mistakes, and the sudden focus on payment collection created a very negative impression.
Everything from start to finish was was communicated well and up front. There were no surprises. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
The contract was not followed originally, the foreman did not show for the final inspection, and I had to have part of my house redone to address how much water and ice should have been installed.
NOT PLEASED WITH SOME OF THE PICTURES IT SHOWS A VERY POOR QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP.
I had a great experience from the first estimate from the final nail being picked up. The contractors alone were enough to recommend because of how kind they were and willing to accomodate us with any questions or concerns we had.
They were extremely efficient and got the job done quickly.
They did not do what was in the contract and the gutter guys were absolutely terrible.
The job went very quickly, and they did an excellent job cleaning up after the job was done, and that was just very welcoming to see.
Quote stated one thing but what was delivered and installed was something else. Damage to siding. Multiple calls required to complete job correctly.
My roof, siding and gutters are beautiful. Extremely pleased with the end results!!!
Communication needs to be improved across the board. I didn't appreciate having a dumpster in my driveway from Friday afternoon until Tuesday afternoon. The crew arrived after noon on the day of the job, even after multiple associates told me they would be there between 7:30 and 8am. Then, I was never informed of when the dumpster would be picked up. I called and was told it was originally scheduled for the day after the job, but the one truck they had for towing the dumpster had a break down so they were going to do it Wednesday. After having to get angry, they finally sent out someone on Tuesday. They were lucky I had a air compressor because one of the tires on dumpster was flat and there were no road in the truck! I had to let him use my compressor before he could haul away the dumpster. None one ever did a walk though to see if the end results are ok. I can only hope.
They did an excellent job. The employees were excellent and cleaned up after themselves, and the roof looks good. I also enjoyed Owens Corning part of it.
It only took about 4 times to come out and complete the job. It was 2 almost a 3 month job. I was totally dissatisfied with the service.
I saw them on Instagram, and I was nervous at first, but they were very responsive, fast to install, very easy to work with, and easy to do financing through.
Very clear and well thought out process. No hard sell. Very personal approach.
I purchased the platinum package. Was to include all materials. Received a call i needed 300.00 additional for wood.
It took 6 months just to get new siding and roof. with terrible communication throughout. Everything was going fine with the job until I put the deposit down. I was told 3-5 weeks once we gave the money, after 7 weeks of hearing nothing I finally called to see what was going on. I left a message with a project manager, no call back. Called again and left another message, no call back. Called back to ask if anyone could help, turns out nothing was ordered for our job until I called to see if anyone was going to do any work. After waiting for everything to show up I still was not getting calls back and the install date was pushed back multiple times. Honestly the end result is nice, but everything before that was terrible.
