I have an issue with my Air Conditioning which is under warranty. The builders can only send someone out during my work hours m-f 8-5. They are not sending any out after 7 or on week-end. Can I invoke the arbitration clause or take them to court to have the matter rectified. Its been 2 weeks now and they haven't fixed the issue.

What is the best way to insulate the ceiling on my glassed-in porch? I recently glassed in my screened in porch and I put spray foam insulation under the floors but I'm worried that the ceiling (which is vaulted in an A-Frame) isn't insulated and I can't really tell when I get into my attic and I don't want to tear up my roof to find out unless that is my only option for insulation. This is important because we also ran HVAC to the porch to make a year-round living space.

My handyman recently shared with me that he thinks I have some structural damage in my basement from a minor flood a few years back... (i.e. a large crack in the cement that runs across roughly half the floor and up towards the ceiling.) How serious might this problem become if unchecked?

For a six-foot retaining wall, do you recommend concrete or blocks? If blocks, what kind of products do you recommend?

Gardenias with yellow leaves: Our gardenias leaves are starting to rapidly yellow. Any ideas what might be wrong? We planted them last fall, and they were happy though the winter. In the last week, their leaves have suddenly and rapidly begun to yellow. I thought they might be getting too much water, but the soil is dry, and tho our irrigation isn't yet turned on, we have gotten a little rain here or there. I don't think they have too much water. If anything, I would have guessed too little. Any ideas? Thanks!

What should I do if a tree has started to lose its bark? In my backyard, I have a large mature oak tree. It has a slight cant to it and has started to drop large pieces of bark from some branches. Is there anything I can do to help it, or should I be looking into having it removed? I'd love to save it just because it's a nice old tree, but don't want it to damage anything either.

What will be the difference in measurements for new installation vs. replacement insert windows. I had windows measured for replacement inserts but want to go with new construction, since we are replacing the siding as well. I want to know the actual size I will be looking for so I can get pricing.
