Too many homebuilder expensive mistakes and problems that need to be fixed on a new build costing over $500-$600k. Foundation problems, structural problems, plumbing issues, a/c problems, grout deterioration, uneven floors, uneven front pillars, bubbling carpet, wrong paint, and numerous other issues all within first 6 months.

My wife and I have purchased 7 new builds. Three have been in Arizona. Our William Ryan new home experience has been great. Michael Coppers, our Sales Representative, and James Clausen have been outstanding. They have been responsive and informative. We were pleasantly surprised at superior quality of our William Ryan home. Yes we would recommend to others.

It was a great experience.

Very little quality control or attention to detail. Very little supervision of vendors, thus very often one does a job and leaves a mess behind that needs to be addressed. Too much turnover in personnel. Very little advocacy on behalf of the buyer. Closing date seems arbitrary and rushed and as a result the house is not finished in a smooth or professional manner. Ironically this is our second William Ryan home (we bought the one next door to our first) and the experience is the same. Nothing much changed in 18 months.

We love our new home and the quality of the building. Good floor plan and people good to work with.

Mostly good experience. Superintendent was great but the company is too rigid and not at all flexible in meeting customers needs.

They were good with communication, kept us updated, and responded to problems.

There are some things that are not done yet, and it's Covid-19 related due to manufacturers. For example a shower door was busted when they came to install it, and I was upset because I thought I was going to get my shower door in my master bathroom and then it was busted. It was a subcontractor. I feel like it's hard to rate them at this time because not everything has been fulfilled on. There was no understanding of how to do the AC unit. It's been trial and error trying to get the nests to work, and the MyHome thing is useless. So far the home is okay. There's just some workmanship that I'm not happy with and that makes me on the fence. It might improve as time goes on. The people, like Jennifer and Eric, are really good to deal with and responsive.
