Since its inception by co founders William Barr and Michael Strmac in 2002, Universal Windows Direct has lived by the philosophy of CANEI - "Constant and Never Ending Improvement". This philosophy holds true in all aspects of our business, from sales and marketing to installation and service and has catapulted UWD from a small, local home improvement company to one of the largest exterior remodeling companies in the country. The installers left the metal trimmings from my front window installation in my front yard. Left without finishing the clean up. I have pictures if interested

Was told Saturday install could be scheduled then when windows came in we were told no Saturday installs. After 2 weeks of multiple calls from different people finally a Saturday was scheduled. We were also told if the windows were not install soon we would be charged a storage fee, Not verry customer friendly.

Im still struggling with the price of the windows. The main reason i called was for the buy 2 get 2 and the triple pane upgrade -at $7800 for 6 std vinyl windows -that comes to $1900 a window for the 4----that just seems outrageous-the triple pane would have been nice but i was told that was really not meant for the pgh area-tand after the install i was told how quiet it would be-not even close to quiet---the sales person was super-did her job exactly how she was supposed to do it-i was nervous about the entire experience and while im happy i have the new windows that come with a great warranty-im very dissapointed in the price and not insisting on the triple pane-i really wish someone could explain how we got to the $1900 per window

Salesperson wasted a lot of my time. Was trying to change door type and for 2 weeks we emailed back and forth on design and color only to find she already ordered the door.
