I am very likely to recommend Starlight Homes to any first time buyer especially. In fact, I have already done so. My daughter's family is considering new home options in the near future, three months or so. I have already encouraged her to look into Starlight Homes.

The process was fairly easy

I originally purchased the home because of the concessions and interest rate offered by the salesman. I was upfront that this would be an income rental. The day before closing, I was informed that the concessions and interest rate were not available for a rental purchase and I would need to pay an additional 15k at closing...the next day! Concerns about the concessions and interest rate never came up with my interview with Starlight's recommended mortgage company either. I complied with every request and had multiple conversations with the lender but questions about the concessions and interest rate NEVER came up until the day before closing. I had already spent several thousand dollars to furnish the home and had deliveries scheduled 2 day after closing so I had no choice but to come up with the additional down payment, which was a serious financial burden. The salesman was out of town during this time so my realtor had to contact Starlight management to discuss how such a large mistake could have happened and why we were just being contacted the day before closing. Management initially did not want to take responsibility for the error but after multiple discussions with my realtor, a compromise was made. I was then contacted the day of closing by the superintendent saying all the repairs that were identified during the walkthrough would likely not be complete before closing due to the termination of the person in charge. Again, I had to get my realtor involved who said that was unacceptable because Starlight had plenty of time to complete the repairs before closing. Management agreed to work quickly and get multiple contractors to my home to make the repairs immediately. The entire purchase process was very frustrating.

They were easy to deal with and they were impressive.

Everyone I interacted with through the whole process was professional and on the ball, making it a smooth experience with no issues. And I'm loving my new home!

The process of our purchase was very smooth

The process was very smooth and easy for me. The homes are beautiful!

I had a great experience; the salesperson was responsive and provided excellent customer service.

We had looked at other builders the same day. Was not as pleased with the other builder designs. We looked at starlight and the feel of the homes were much more fitted in size and price. We met Randy who was amazing and he was friendly and down to earth compared to other builders realtors. Randy i believe was the key to making the experience. Even in the process he followup all the way through. Even with the starlight basic layout and minimal features, the houses had a good structure, plus including all appliances, and affordability, making it appealing. Love the open concept. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom could be slightly bigger. Only thing that would of made it alittle easier is having a backyard landscaping package available that would allow buyers to choice from that would be rolled into the mortgage to help with establishing alittle financial freedom and help enjoy using the backyard sooner.

The quality of the home and the percentage rate are absolutely phenomenal.

As a first time homebuyer, Starlight Homes made it as easy as possible for me. They walked me through step-by-step and ensured I was comfortable and resolve anything that I need. 10/10 would recommend!

Overall our experience with Starlight Homes has been good. Communication during the home buying process was great but now that we are in our home, we can’t seem to get ahold of anyone to come out and do the repairs that were promised to be fixed prior to moving in and with new things we discover during the first 60 day. We are lucky that most of our found damages are cosmetic but we have doors that don’t need handles to be turned to be opened and won’t lock.

Consistent cost-cutting: Cheap fixtures, single-sink master bath, no blinds, basic appliances, no pantry light, unused under-stair space—this is a pattern, not a one-off.

Lower value vs competitors: When Ashton Woods and Richmond American are clearly delivering better finishes, color schemes, and hardware at a similar price point, this builder becomes hard to justify.

Process experience: An unprofessional lender tied to the transaction is a red flag. Buyers should feel supported, not disrespected.

The homes are beautiful and the sales person, his name is Jace was so awesome.

It’s fine. But Starlight is the cheapest for a reason. My only real complaint is the Ethernet ports throughout the house were wired for a landline. In 2025. Yikes.

The personnel at Starlight Homes are very helpful.

The site manager Jose ensures the homes are built to a high standard. From what we saw higher then most current new builds.

The team was amazing and i got my friend to buy a house 8 house down on the same street.
