Most of the project was satisfactory or very good. But there were a few things that should have been taken care of.

Door ordered arrived 2 inches short, reorder required over a month, new door arrived without a storm door . Luckily they found it and had it installed 2 days later

Since there is such a long time from order to install, the reminder texts should have a note to be sure the cabinets are cleared out for refacing. If that was communicated to me at order placement, it was forgotten by install two or three months later.

The measurements of the existing vanity unit did not take into consideration how close to the wall it was, which resulted in the new unit having drawers that did not clear the door molding. The carpenter created a "workaround" by adding a piece of material and caulking it into place. He also had to re-cut the holes in the floor of the vanity (for the water lines and the drain) but did a good job on that. To make it mouse-proof (as requested) however, more caulking or foam will be needed.

Of more concern to me, however, was the fact that I discovered (shortly after the carpenter left) that the plumber had somehow (and it makes no sense to me) switched the feeder lines so that the hot water comes out of the right hand spigot, and the cold comes out of the left, unlike just about every similar unit in the US (and unlike my previous vanity as well). When I discovered this, I decided to see if anything else revealed itself to need correction, and I had been told that someone from YHI would contact me - within a week - to check my satisfaction with the work.

I did receive a call from my salesman, Rocco, at the end of the first week of December. I told Rocco about the concern with the hot and cold water switch. He asked if he could come by the following Monday (Dec. 8th) to take a few photos of the job. I asked him to report the problem, and agreed to let him come by and photograph the job that Monday. I then received a message from him saying he would not be able to take the photos at that time, and telling me that he would let me know when he as "in the area." I have not heard a thing from him or anyone else at YHI since then.

With the expansion of the business, communication with the customer has fallen off. This is not a criticism of the sales rep or the workers on the line. I appreciate all their efforts, and I never feel as though they are simply blowing me off.

I talked to someone (James Bowser? Name on phone ID) on July 24, 2025. He had a project manager call to schedule an appointment to follow up on my issues with two windows and one screen door. This was set for July 31, 2025. They called to cancel for a family emergency noting someone would call at a later date to reschedule. I haven’t heard from anyone to date.

Istallation and windows are great.

I like the product, I feel we over spent for the work done. No walls or plumbing moved, no floor repair, nothing extra. VERY expensive for the work done. Shame on me.

I thought the cost exceeded the work that was done. It would have been nice if I knew the cost of materials. It is too expensive. I should have gotten other prices, but I didn't; I just went with them when I called them up.

I love that my three windows were all done in a day and area cleaned up. I also like the lifetime guarantee. Gives me peace of mind.

Matthew was fabulous. The salesman was friendly and I obviously signed, but I’m irritated that things I thought I paid for were not on the contract and I missed it in the rush to “sign today” for the big discount. I don’t know if it was worth it. I am normally a DIYer and prices now are outrageous, but I dislike the sales practices.

I appreciated the regular communication about project status. The job was done very well. It was also quite expensive.

The manufacturer sent the wrong bathroom sink. As a result, we were without a bathroom sink for nearly one-and-a-half months. Your Home Improvement merely placed blame on the manufacturer and did nothing to make things right for us or compensate us in any way for the inconvenience of having no sink in our bathroom for so long.

Contract signing was July everything had to be ripped out and redone final product was not what we needed or expected many delays. If we had any idea of the final product we would not have moved forward. The tear out that was done did not give us any choice but to move forward. The work was so bad it was re done. The redone by Matt was done correctly but not what we were expecting when we agreed to the project.

They did what they said they would do and did it well.

The installers were prompt. They were very helpful, and we had no issues whatsoever. They did a wonderful job.
