It's been 6 months and we're still not *done* done. Sales person didn't relay all options and made promises that couldnt be kept.
1st Outside contracted install team was unprofessional and not given all the original pictures so came under-prepaired. They also didn't finish the job (blamed the window being damaged) but didn't wrap up the work area for the incoming rain.
A boss came out the next day and promised *that* team wouldn't be back out and said the window wasn't damaged - they just needed to clean them (which was part of what she said was expected of the installers).
Next "team" came out. One guy- also not given the appropriate information so was unprepared. He did call for a second guy to join him and after cutting into my house to make the window fit.... keeping in mind that a separate employee already came out JUST TO MEASURE the windows before they were ordered and none of them were the correct size in the end?
Then gaps were left on the inside of the windowsills and a different manager came out to see it was fixed. He brought back the original team even after we were told we won't have to deal with them again. He was there to supervise them himself though. But then the last window part he (boss #2) offered to order never came in I guess?
*Months* later a different / new tech came out to install it... without it. But said he had to come out personally to inspect? Assess? the not window he was supposed to install to. Explained that the window in question wasn't in the warehouse when he looked so he came WITHOUT IT, ON PURPOSE, WITHOUT TELLING US he didn't have it, so he could see. ... ...
so we're still waiting for the last slider window part. No idea when it comes in. I can't pay it off since the install isn't finished. And I can't get anyone to give me an itemized receipt so I will be unable to claim them on my taxes. I was told to ask my salesman, who apparently doesn't work for the company anymore.
This all on top of contracts being sent with incorrect information multiple times? Yeah, I don't think I'll be using window nation for any future projects or reffering them to friends and family.
**At least they haven't leaked. So better than Windows by Anderson I guess?
I love the windows, and everyone was quick to respond when I had a question or concern.
Poor service and poor communication
1) Final installation was not finished when it was supposed to be finished 2) Final installation was scheduled two Friday's in a row, but the crew didn't show up and one of the times, I wasn't even given a heads up 3) roof was damaged, in exchange I was promised a prepaid Visa card, but was only given the option of a retail gift card.
My experience with Window Nation was outstanding.
I have had a lot of problems with Window Nation.
They came earlier than expected to install windows, they were quick, courteous and friendly, answering any questions we had during installation, and were prompt in fixing any issues we had. Very Reliable. I believe we got our money's worth on this project.
Horrible communication after an unacceptable installation process. Damaged several of our trim pieces and was told that we needed to call a painter to fix. I will never recommend window nation after the experience we had. Mistakes happen, I understand that. But the lack of service and communication after the mistake was unreal. The only communication I received was you all asked me to pay when the botch job wasn’t finished and we had broken windows that the install team installed.
It is too expensive. Unless you are planning on painting your house afterwards, I wouldn’t recommend it.
My project almost went as expected until installation. The screen door didn't come with the glass door. It had to be ordered and took almost a month to be delivered & installed. The fascia didn't fit my window space as my house was double sided. New fascia had to be brought in but no one contacted as to when it would arrive. So it was a surprise when the installers just showed up.
The office staff did the best they could to resolve the issue with the screen door but it should never have happened.
Too many problems occurred with the project, measuring, time management, communication within organization
The window was broken on first deliver. Then replacement had the wrong color. When the correct color window was installed, the installment was done poorly. The installer came back & told us to fix it ourselves.
Good news and bad news. First, Jesse came on a did the needed repair promptly and professionally. Bad news is that the reason for his visit was the fact that the latching plate on the new patio screen door was omitted when the new windows were installed and the patio screen door could not be latched, or locked.
I typically perform my own construction projects. I was convinced by Dani Tofte to have Window Nation install the windows so that I would not have to do any of the work myself, they would be installed correctly, and they would look good. The people that performed the install were very nice. I believe that the windows were installed correctly and that they will not leak. Cosmetically. some of the windows were off center. They appear to be crooked and are not even in the opening. Outside, the large window that we have appears crooked. The moulding is not even with the siding of the house. I had a neighbor come by and they asked what happened with the installation. I have not seen any window replacements in the neighborhood that had the appearance of crooked windows. Window Nation sent someone to look at the installation and I was told that the house had settled and that was why the windows looked crooked. I need to remove the sill and side jambs from the windows and basically reframe the inside of the windows. The appearance is adequate for a rental house, but for a house that I live in, it is not cosmetically acceptable. If I knew ahead of time that I would have to rework the windows, I would have installed them myself.
Great staff from start to finish!
Communication is VERY poor once past the sales rep.
Installers left some siding unsecured.
You are way weight too expensive.
I did recommend to my neighbor and they decided to Schedual and purchase several windows from WN.
Installers worked very professionally but the two damaged doors have not been replaced after several weeks of being installed.
We are very disappointed. We called twice and were told someone was taking care of the issue and we never heard back from them
I have a new window that has fogged up and called immediately and was told they would get back to me and haven't heard anything.
I was promised a travel voucher which I have never received in spite of emails and phone calls asking for help.
Incompetet, slow. 9 weeks for a one day job.
Love the windows..very efficient.
Outstanding product and exceptional team with a strong work ethic
