Process was very easy, everybody is super friendly and knowledgeable

We were very impressed with the build and finish quality of the home. The construction manager is amazing, he's kind, attentive and truly goes above and beyond for the future home owners.

Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the rest of the process. The entire experience severely lacked communication. Our sales associate was not very knowledgeable. They promised one rebate, and then a week later switched the rebate on us, causing us to come out of pocket more- no explanation was provided other than "they changed it I guess" (no, the month did not change over. we at this point had a week left in the month). The mortgage and lending process felt rushed, last minute and shifty. When they needed something from us, we got multiple emails telling us what they needed was important and we needed to hurry and sign. Thankfully I read things before signing or else I would not have caught them changing the interest rate and monthly payment. But when we needed to ask clarifying questions or had concerns, it took days to get a response and multiple emails. The entire process felt very "bait and switch" luckily my husband and I are both in the car business and knew what to look for and how to protect ourselves.

The quality of the homes itself and our construction manager are the only reasons we are giving three stars instead of one. The home price was a decent value, we love our home, and feel at peace that our construction manager is here for support if we need anything.

I have already recommended the Point subdivision to a friend of mine who is in Ghana right now, but she is thinking about giving up her two-story home. She wants a ranch, so I invited her to come out and see mine. She loved the area, and she’s thinking about getting a real estate agent to come out and show her some properties here.

It may be beneficial to consider making a few small but impactful features standard (or optional) in your homes such as screens for sliding doors, hardware on cabinets and automatic garage door openers. These are relatively minor additions, but it significantly improve the overall customer experience and help your homes feel more complete from day one.

Alec the Construction Manager, was very knowledgeable and helped me immensely on the walk through. Careful to explain everything I needed to know. Couldn’t have had a better team!

Very Friendly and satisfying the customer needs

Our experience has been a good one. We really like Wade, our sales representative, and Phillip, our construction manager. Wade is extremely knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions. Plus, he exhibits great customer service and he is prompt with returning phone calls. Our construction manager, Phillip, has been awesome. If we reach out about any issues, he returns calls quickly. His response time is great and we never have to wait when we need him for any issues that have come up.

We really liked how quick and easy the process was.

Didn’t know it was a spec home. For resale value I needed 2 sinks in master suite. Thought someone was supposed to contact me and work with the builders to get this installed. No upgrades are disappointing, along with having to install the garage mechanism.

The house did not come with cabinetry fixtures, poor job with painting (paint on floors, counters, vents, bottom of thresholds not painted well), hot water is not hot enough, and everyone just keeps brushing off my concern about water not being hot enough for my family and I, blinds not installed, no toilet paper/towel fixtures in bathrooms, no garage door opener installed....

The home was built cheap, e.g. the garage door is so small, barely for a car; it does not have garage opener; the cabinet does not have handles; the bathrooms don't have bars. Overall, it is cheaply built.

I will promote them now.

Starlight met my vital objectives: walk-in shower; 2-car garage; and ranch style home (no more stairs).

Starlight Homes builds shells of a house. The cabinets did not have knobs, the garage doors are not motorized, and the towel racks are not installed. This is just a small list of things that were not finished.

Starlight Homes should not misrepresent through the pictures. I saw pictures online that have add-ons included in pictures, like cabinet knobs. I did not get it, and already signed a contract, so it was too late to change my mind. They did not clarify with me. Also, with the lender, I did not get info on both lenders. I was not happy with the sales process, but I was happy with the builder who is handling things; he is answering my questions.

Antonio was so very responsive! As soon as I started looking at Glen Crossing, he reached out to me. I was not totally sold but Antonio still talked to me and answered my questions.
