Some thing are done with good intention but other things are off. Example, kitchen cabinets do not have door handles. I had to provide my own door handles. That is only one example. Construction meets a price break point, I understand the market dynamics. Minor changes would increase buyer value with little or no change in costruction cost.

The move in process was great! My walkthrough associate was as knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and had everything addressed before move in. I love the home so far and haven’t had any issues!

Noticed after moving in some minor build quality issues. Like the cabinet molding was cut for a corner,but used on a straight piece. Dishwasher placement is slightly unaligned, etc.

The homes are installed with air conditioning vents that you can not buy at the store. You have to special order them and you can not replace them with any new style decorative vents.

It is an affordable home that is set up to make it your home. It is a blank canvas. There is no design, so it is set up to make it your home.

I was working with starlight homes to get a loan with them. I was already approved with another company for a VA loan I wanted to put $down on a home they told me to wait a day to see what they can do for a loan because they were offering a lower interest rate and paid closing costs. I went in the next day to put down earnest money and they already had someone else. So instead of getting the 1600sq ft home I wanted I ended up settling for the 1400 sq ft for the same price. The one I wanted they had a special price and they would not honor the same price for another 1600 sq ft.

As a first time home owner the deal that Starlight Homes was offering was far better than any of there competitors and i would recommend anyone looking to buy who is on a tight budget as i was
