Great crew. Efficient, and friendly

Specialty Home Products completed our roof replacement using quality materials, experienced workers and in a timely fashion.

The roof looks good

From the very beginning I knew Rick Simmet was very experienced in all aspects of roofing, and was trustworthy. I had already talked with other roofers who were marketers and had all sorts of gimmicks to reduce an exaggerated price. Or young sales people who had a basic training on what to look for in roof to show how bad it is, but who had not ever helped lay a roof.
Specialty Home Products has been laying roofs for 45 years. Rick worked his whole life tearing up and laying new roof. He also offerred to repair a small leak for free before the winter closed in, and then would install a new roof in the spring. I chose Specialty without knowing the roof price. I wanted to work with a professional who is trustworthy. When I got the quote it was less than all the other 3 quotes. I got the best of all worlds. Rick always arrived when he said he would, not too early, never late.

Excellent service, honest and keep us informed about scheduling. It was a holiday week so the extra days were understandable.

Work was performed as-scheduled, rapidly done, and crews were tidy.

they were fast reasonably priced and super knowledgeable and respectful

An all around great experience!

Our roof was leaking and needed to get done. Specialty came out right away and got our roof done even working in the snow to get the job done.

Totally positive experience!

It is rare in this day and age to come across any company that provides value for the exchange. Specialty is one of those rare companies. If I had to pick the first thing that comes to mind after my experience with this company—which included skylight replacements and three roofs—I'd say trust.
Trust is the number one word that describes them. They earned my trust because their quality is consistently high. They do what they say they're going to do and keep you informed every step of the way. Their quality of work is excellent, and they stand behind it. They schedule and finish jobs in a very timely manner and keep you informed throughout the process. Their prices are fair and competitive, and the quality is hard to beat.
If you're considering a new roof, it's a big decision. Call Specialty because they will not only take care of you, but you'll also know you were lucky enough to find a company that prioritizes relationships, value, and service—qualities that are becoming increasingly rare in today's "quick-box" world. These aren't just buzzwords; these are words I've personally spoken from experience.
I'm very thankful that I found this company.

Have the crew use ladder stabilizers to avoid gutter and gutter filter damage so ladders do not rest directly on gutters.

Poor communication, still waiting on gutter install

They were very professional. The cleanup was done great.

I was quoted a very low price for a good quality roof system. The installers were fast, friendly and always cleaned up at the end of every day. They did an excellent job

I am super impressed with the workmanship and price on my project from Specialty Home Products. I was amazed the promptness and service I received. Chad was amazing to work with and I will always use Specialty Home Products for my future needs. Thank you for an incredible experience.

I highly recommend Specialty Home Products. They are an experienced and well established company in Spokane; they are knowledgeable, respectful, fair, great to work with, responsive in a crisis, and the finished roof is really attractive!

Hard time communicating with crew.I have limited Spanish speaking skills but we were able to get throuht it.

This was a 2nd experience, for us from years ago. Both experiences were very good :)

They did a great job.

excellent product and all were great, will recomend

I have already referred you.

The price and work are fair but expect to have to call frequently to get the work done.

I have already recommended them.

The work was started on the day it was scheduled. The installation crew was professional. The job was completed as scheduled. Specialty Home Products is a great company with wonderful workers.

I have already recommended them.

Replacing a roof is a huge project. The crew from Speciality Home Products worked morning till night for 4 days. The crew stayed so busy. The communicated with me to cause as little inconvenience as possible. A neighbor told me he used a different roofing company and that they had left a mess in his driveway and yard. I was amazed at how little residue was left after this project. I have much respect for the men who worked on my house. Thank you.

roofing crew was outstanding. Hard workers and quality work!

The team from Specialty did an outstanding job on my roof from start to finish. I spent 20 years in this industry and would recommend Specialty to anybody without reservation!

It's contingent on how it wears over time.

I waited a while to give a review on my installation. I reached out to the company multiple times regarding my roof and had a hard time communicating with anyone. They broke a piece of my shed off, killed a rhododendron plant I have, left clothing on my neighbors yard and several other unprofessional things. When the initial meeting was conducted to look at my roof the salesmen seemed very knowledgeable but getting a hold of anyone is beyond difficult. I signed for my roof in May, they started the service the end of September and I am still waiting for additional vents and gutters to be installed an it's mid-November now with snow falling.

They were quick, friendly, and easy to work with.

Excellent experience working with Specialty Home Products to get our new roof completed in a timely and professional way. Workmanship was very good. I do wish they had used more tarps on the lawn around the house because I picked up a can full of roofing nails afterward with our bar magnet. The rain gutters above the dump trailer were scratched by throwing tear-off shingles into the trailer, and the siding was damaged in one spot by errantly tossed debris punching a hole on the steel siding. Other than that, they did a good job. They were efficient and got it done in an appropriate amount of time with minimal disruption to us.

The Owens Corning Roofing Product is part of the reason we went with Specialty Home Products for our roofing job.

Chad is very knowledgeable and helpful. The crew was friendly and did their best to keep my yard clean.

I already have.

From start to finish - the estimating to the final product - was very easy and above my expectations. Wonderful group of people. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Specialty did a great job under tough weather conditions.

The work crew worked long days to get the old shingles off and the new roof on. I was impressed with their work ethic and the whole process from start to finish only took three days.

Thanks Mark and his crew for a job well done. A great roofing product, fair price, and a quality job. Would recommend! Easy to work with and navigate the process with my insurance claim.

Our new roof looks fantastic!

Mark was very nice and knowledgeable in regards to my roof and he did respond back to me every time i texted him or called him. BUT as for his crew not professional, they left a mess in my rock bed, never covered it up with a tarp. Yes i understand that the wind was blowing really hard but they could have used my drift wood to hold down the tarps, since they just helped themselves to my wheelbarrel & electricity. they damaged the siding on my house that connects to the garage and again i understand they had to get the flashing under the wood and the cedar shingles were brittle but they just left and didn't say anything like they are trying to get away with something that was rude. and they damage the wood at the top of my garage taking off the old raingutter. and the big thing is they moved my brick boarded for my rock bed just to get their rig 2 inched closer to the house. you don't start taking apart someone landscape and they just leave and not put any of it back. i think his crew is a half *** team and not professionals. i will not refer this com[any to anyone since people believe in my word and i'm not going to have my reputation ruined because they kids do crappy job and in a hurry instead of taking time with a person's home and not damage it. and professional if they do by accident damage something they tell the owner about not just leave and do nothing. the only thing i got to say bad about Mark is he needs to really pay attention to whom he is texting and what he says cause he text me by mistake he was supposed to be texting his crew to let them know there are issues. he texted me and said " Will you please help this lady she is a real pain. that is something you don't ever do to a customer, i haven't forgotten that. I was nice and cleaned up the mess that the wind did with the roofing that the least the crew could do is clean up the rock bed and fix my bricks. Ivin has to come out and fix that plus had to fix my cedar shingles and paint so it didn't look so bad. but if that was a 500,000.00 home you wouldn't get away with that 1/2 *** flashing job, that now i have to live with. i spent alot of money trying to fix up my house and yard for a crew to come in and damage things, so not Happy at all about that.

Specialty Home Products was professional, on time, and kept a clean job site. The products looks great. I'd recommend them to any of my friends.

They did an awesome job for me,..quality of work was great I would recommend it to anyone
