Solarponics, Inc. is a local small business that does not have a call center. When you call, they answer your questions. They are very easy to work with.

The installation was great, as was Aadi's responsiveness before and during the construction. But we are seeing none of the savings that were promised in the proposal. The bid projected savings of $4,800/year and a payback in a little under 8 years. Instead our energy bills over the first 6 months of the proposal have been almost identical to before the system. When I investigated I realized that the projection was calculated as though we were under "residential services region X basic" when instead we were in an NEM 2 plan based on our previous solar installations. So the new system bumped us out of the NEM 2 to the new PG&E Solar Plan, which nets our energy by hour rather than by day. This was never communicated by Solarponics. The result is that despite paying Solarponics $60,000 to install the new system we're paying PG&E just as much as before. When I reached out to Aadi he referred me to Ron Spann, who responded once telling me it looked like I was owed an apology, then once more saying I had received everything I was promised. Ron has not responded to a subsequent note sharing our energy bills and highlighting where the bid was made in error.

We have been working with Solarponics since they installed our initial solar panels in 2015. We have since added additional panels, two Tesla batteries, and, most recently, a car charger for our hybrid vehicle. The work, and subsequent support, has always been exceptional and working with them has been a pleasure.

We only had one problem and it was delays on the power wall.

The project intent was to increase our existing ground array output. Solarponics did a bang-up job on our original 9.12 kW DC installation back in 2015. Our property appears to be using a bit more energy than less as time progresses, so we had space on our racking structure to accommodate 3 additional 325 watt panels. All it took was a phone call with Deana del Sol to initiate & schedule the work. Within a week or so everything was contracted online and the installation crew made the trip out & took care of business. We live in a rural location where reliable service work is important and very much appreciated. So far, utilizing a local resource, Solarponics, has been the right thing to do for us and we are happy to continue supporting such a well respected company.

We have had Solarponics here for five years now. This last time was just an addition to the system. We bought a Tesla, so we needed to have some more power. I think it is a great system and that they did a great job.

The field crews are great but the office staff and project manager is completely inadequate.

I had to ask 3 times and reject their engineering plans to get the equipment where I asked. I had to pull county records so that they could pull a county permit. Their installation team ran over a tree, left pieces of metal all over the yard and handprints all over the ceiling and walls.

Solarponics was recommended by a neighbor as being a quality installer...I did not do comparisons with other companies. apart from what I thought to be a very expensive 'product' I was/am pleased with the results..it is nice not having a monthly electric bill of several hundred dollars, but I am aware I will have an electric bill to deal with at the end of the year.

Solarponics, Inc. did everything perfect except they left a ground rod sticking out of the sidewalk. They actually left two rods sticking out but they came and repaired one and left the other one. I have had several people trip over the rod. I tripped over the rod last week coming in my home.
