My floor has bumps in places and makes hollow noises in others. Painters didn’t clean door handles and glass in places so I will have to do that. Disappointed with cabinets. Workmanship on exterior of home is ok.
Regret purchasing a spec home and not being able to make more impactful upgrades. Changes can be made after closing but it a waste of time and money. Some changes are very costly to change after closing.

Since I moved in, I have been disappointed with the quality of workmanship in my home. I have paint peeling off of the garage at a level. I can’t even reach to repair it. I’ve had fixtures in the bathroom fall off the wall. There were nicks everywhere that I didn’t notice on the walk-through my kitchen repair under the sink was never fixed and the fence that I paid for now that it’s settling the paint job is not good and it looks unacceptable for the price that I paid for the home.

I think Saussy Burbank needs to do better quality instead of rushing to get things done. They need to do better with quality over quantity. They cut corners and for the price point, the stuff in the house is cheap.

From start to finish, the Saussy team was always willing to help, were friendly, and answered all our questions.

Simply the best!

At this juncture, I am unable to provide a full recommendation without additional context and follow-through on the remaining steps of the build. While I recognize that SB creates beautiful homes, aspects of the process so far have been disappointing and have not always aligned with our expectations for building a dream home. The individuals we have worked with have been exemplary, so please note these are generally logistical/process concerns.

Suggestions:

Allowing more time between lot purchase and home plan selection.

Providing timely information on new models and their availability/timeline.

Offering incentives to future homeowners (we have not received any to date).

Increasing flexibility in available options, such as landscaping.

Consider increasing quality of paint to prevent the encouraged bright colors from fading.

Reviewing garage build expectations (e.g., size and plumbing).

The people we worked with and the quality of the home exceeded our expectations. Specifically Mallory Moore and Will Hess were our sales person and our construction contact.

The Saussy Burbank team I interacted with always made me feel valued and in good hands. Communication was clear, especially as I was out of state for a large chunk of the construction process. Their design coordinator, Megan, was exceptional at her job and was able to guide us through the design process seamlessly. Danielle and Jack were and continue to be friendly and helpful; they always have a smile and stop to speak with me if we see each other in the neighborhood, even now! Kelly is so well versed as PM, I always knew my house was in good hands - he was well organized, on the ball and always a few steps ahead of me. Whenever, I had questions, all the Saussy team members helped me out and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. Any warranty issues I've had post-closing are small and met in a timely manner six months in. I highly recommend the Saussy Burbank team.

Love my Saussy Burbank home. I bought a spec home so didn't get to choose any finishes, but with a couple of exceptions I love what was chosen. My only negative is that I was told that Saussy would replace any plantings that died or didn't come up in the first year. I'm missing an estimated 9 perennials and I've asked SEVERAL times to have them replaced and I'm ignored. My home is one facing the street and one would think it important to have these looking their best as there are about 16 unbuilt/unsold homes behind me.

Beautiful homes, amazing staff! Sherry Webb & Jason Burger went above and beyond They communicated well, were patient and kind.

The house had problems with leaking, which then became mildew and mold. The walls and floors had to be pulled up. It was a horrible and unliveable experience. They handled the issues but they should've been more careful with the contractors they used.

I was pleasantly pleased with the front end of the sale and their agent. I was very pleased with how they handled us from start to finish. They made us feel like family. I was impressed with Rob, the construction manager. There are always issues and he was great. I have no complaints. He made sure to address and explain everything. It was all fixed correctly.

Build quality of my home

The entire home building process was seamless! Thanks to Sherry, Jen and Zachary! I felt they truly cared and had my back in helping me to make decisions in the building process. I would hands down build another Saussy Burbank home and I have highly recommended Saussy Burbank to my friends!
