I wrote a detailed account of our experiences with Rytech Orange County after the project finished in May 2026 but didn't post it. I would have parsed that out and pasted the relevant comments under each category below, but once I saw that the email Rytech sent asking for feedback was set up for positive comments (in green) to be posted to Google, while negative comments (in red) went to this internal system, most likely not to be seen by the public, I was reminded about our horrendous experience. The Google comments do not include the names of the contacts so I'm including them here.

Very professional company.

They worked pretty fast.

I loved the quality of the work. The people were very nice, cordial, and on time. They catered to my expectations and then far exceeded them. My wife is very happy.

I was not informed at the beginning that Rytech does not handle rebuilds. I only learned this after specifically asking about the rebuild process.

Additionally, I did not receive any report or documentation after the mitigation work was completed.

I also emailed Milton Vega, whose business card I was given, to ask about the rebuild process, but I never received a response. Because of this lack of information, I had to make multiple calls to Rytech. Even during those calls, I was not clearly told that Rytech of Orange County does not perform rebuild services, which caused unnecessary delays and repeated follow-ups on my end.

Rytech corporate should have been aware that the local office does not handle rebuilds and should have communicated this clearly from the start. Instead, it felt like messages were only being relayed without providing clear or complete information to me as the customer.

This experience caused confusion, wasted time, and frustration, and I believe clearer upfront communication and proper follow-up would have avoided these issues.

Your team was very professional, helpful, and stayed on top of what needed to be completed. Milton was great!!

Every time I had a question and called Milton, he was really helpful.
If I needed help, he would go out of his way to help me by getting a hold of the insurance company. He was very patient.

Milton from Rytech called first and told me who he was and that he would be coming out to evaluate the water damage and said he could come the next day and asked what time was convenient. Left me his card if I had further questions. the staff was great and tried to help in this very difficult situation.

After the initial project introduction and explanation of the process, Rytech coordinated with our property manager and kept her in the loop. Project was completed in a timely manner.

The guys did a great job in clearing out the debris after our roof leak. They did a great job in making sure our floors were properly protected from the front door, up the stairs, down the hallway and in our bedroom. They were courteous and did a great job cleaning up after themselves each day.

They were fast to schedule and come out but when it came to collecting the fans and dehumidifiers it was torture getting ahold of someone to get them to help.

They have been very accommodating and very nice. Nobody knows the laws of CA regarding mold, however. This work started in 9/21 and is not done yet.

They disassembled the wiring to my TV and receivers and took pictures. They did not give us pictures of that so I had to have someone come in to rewire that.

I woke up Monday morning to a flooded kitchen, 4:30 AM. After I logged into my insurance company's website to file a claim, a pop up window asked if I would like water mitigation services, or something like that. I said yes. By the time I had finished logging my claim, Maria from Rytech called me. She was very kind, pleasant, helpful, empathetic and explained that they were approved vendors of my insurance company, and that someone could be out that very day to help evaluate the situation. Marcos was there by 9 AM with a moisture detector and a professional demeanor. We discussed the situation and he gave me a rough idea of what to expect from the insurance company, repairs, etc. It took my insurance company 48 hours to assign a rep; but every question I had before then, Marcos or Maria answered fully. Their pack team packed up everything downstairs; their demo team took out all the water damaged walls and floors; they left dehumidifiers and fans until the the studs in the walls registered ZERO moisture. Every employee I encountered was kind and professional, and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone.
