Price too high, problem with installer error, no communication, 1 day installation turned into one month to finally finish.

Your installers Quinn and Bryan were AWESOME. I want to make it clear that what I share in this feedback request is in no way shape or form against either one of these guys. Quinn and Brian were excellent, very thorough, and explained everything that was going on.

That being said, I was disappointed that within 30 minutes of the installers leaving the door broke. There was some piece that broke off in between the doors. Both Quinn and Brian came back removed the door fixed it and then left but within 30 minutes of them, leaving the second time the door broke again.

I called your home office and I called the number that was left on my documents for the supervisors, but no one answered. I called the home office again. Got a hold of someone who said that they would transfer me to the service department and they transferred me to a voicemail. When I called back to explain that I could not shut my door and that I have a very expensive hole in my house I was told that he would send an email and ask to have someone contact me ASAP.

At that point, it began to feel like I was going to be stuck, not able to leave my home and with a patio door that will not close. I replaced my patio door because of how much it was leaking, but the gap that was left behind from the door you installed was much larger than what I was previously experiencing. My rating is a three because of this. On top of that, there were some cosmetic damages to the door that you sent with your installers. There are big scratches on the side and a hole in the screen, which means that someone will have to come back and fix that with additional time off of work for me. I’m aware that you could fix the screen if I’m not home however, the way my property is you cannot get to the door without climbing over the fence so it’s unlikely somebody would be able to fix those things when I’m not home.

Other than the price, I am happy with everything.(I do construction projects on the side, and have a tough time watching & paying to have others do projects) The sales rep did a great job explaining the shower and the installation went smoothly. The shower is beautiful and much bigger than the old one. So far no problems!

Installation was thorough and professional. Good experience all around.

There was considerable lack of communication that became evident after the initial visit. There were papers that I was not given to sign on the initial visit, one of which was the document describing the cancellation policy. The initial visit was on July 9, 2025 and Matt brought me those papers to sign on July 22, they were back dated to July 29. There were other papers that I had signed and/or initialed that needed to be re-signed and those signatures were obtained either by test or in person within a week after the initial visit.

Start to finish project was handled expedishly.

3 service issues. 1st tub shower didn’t drain. 2nd installer punched a hole through the wall into my hall. He didn’t tell me about it, I had to tell him. 3rd one of the doors doesn’t slide. First they said I’d have to wait until Monday to have someone come out and fix the plumbing. The plumber that did the job was actually able to come out right away and busted the clog. Other two items are more of a problem. Appointment was from 8-10 today. No one showed so I called at 10:20 and they said they couldn’t reach him but sent an email and I’d be getting a call shortly. 5 hours later I called again had to leave a voicemail. I believe the service manager(?) called back and said he just got ahold of the guy and he could come right out. I asked the manager(?) Why I didn’t get a call back and his response was “should I have called and said I have no answers? The simple answer here is yes. Couldn’t fix the door because it is too tall so someone is going to have to come back out and raise the track. He put some spackle in the hole in the wall. Did an absolute terrible job which is going to have to be fixed. I paid $15,000 for this. Terrible service. I have pictures of the wall before and after. Discusted and very disappointed at this point.

I was very impressed with Josh in doing the remodel of my tub and walls. It was a tight space to work in. Josh was very professional and courteous. Highly recommend him.

Everything about our purchase was excellent. The only reason a 9 was selected was because the project was expensive. Having said that, We are overall very pleased with the project as a whole.

Very expensive. Salesman ignored my calls and texts in the weeks before installation. Had to put my foot down on my installation concerns, on the day of installation because the contract did not reflect all that was discussed between us and the salesman. The look of the product was not as the salesman told us it would look like. The installers and plumbers did a good job. My Wife wanted a shower niche, but Mad City does not do those.

Heard from the company that has our twelve month for the remainder of out contract and they were told our project was complete and it is NOT! Salesperson said he would be here on the day of installation and never showed. We opted for molding on the shower ceiling and it is not going to come about. Ryan was told just to fill it in………! The boys that put the shower stall in were terrific and so were the plumbers!!
