We really appreciated Tamara’s expertise in our initial discussions with her and her straightforward proposal for the installation. We chose Prestige because we liked the idea of working with a “mom and pop shop” (Tamara’s term). And their proposal cost was very competitive compared with two other companies we chose to interview. Tamara ran the “front office”, sent us the paperwork, explained the finances, and kept us in the communications loop. Everything was always professional and timely. Her husband, Sean, is an experienced electrician with wide solar installation experience. Their proposal included details on panels and micro-inverters from respected industries. That made it easy for me to do my own research. Sometimes we had to work around each other’s schedules, but communication was just a text message away.

The company is easy to contact - a real person always answers the phone. The work was done quickly and the price was a little better than some other companies.

Prestige was about 5 months behind the scheduled installation with little or no communication until I reached out monthly. The explanation for the delay was in part, out of their control due to staffing issues but they did not give periodic schedule reassessments. It felt like they were just stringing me along while holding about 1/2 of the installation cost. We were expecting a summer installation verses the actual November installation.

I cannot imagine a better experience. PPS was everything I had hoped for in a solar installer and solar friend. The staff were informed and informative, flexible, reliable ( told me when they would arrive and what they would do and arrived and did what they said). Each of the team was thoughtful to my many many many questions before I selected them, during the contracting process, during installation and after completion. I have already referred many of my neighbors, my son-in-law and strangers in the park that is next to our home to call PPS. I will work with them again for battery storage and E vehicle charging when appropriate.
