I like the way Pettis Painting are organized and on top of everything. We have had them paint different rooms before and made sure we chose them again. Excellent work and attention to detail. Great communication and we are very happy. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality paint job!
Very professional and thorough. Kept me updated throughout and did an excellent job. Highly recommend
Without hesitation!
I am so satisfied with this company that I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.
Great experience dealing with this company, everyone did their job, easy to communicate, responsive to feedback.
From start to finish it was a very professional experience with everyone I encountered at Pettis.
They were efficient and completed the job quickly.
Interior work was very good. Exterior work fell short with inadequate prepping before painting. Areas of new paint applied over previous paint that was flaking. More scraping and sanding was necessary. Also the overall job took longer than the estimator said it would take, because only one painter was assigned for most of the job. I also ended up with a lot of extra paint.
Painters were very neat friendly. Job was completed ahead of schedule. Cost was reasonable. Finished product was excellent. Job manager went out of his way to be helpful.
In this competitive field of home improvement, I was looking for a company that would treat me with kindness, respect, and old fashioned values in workmanship. I found this with the Pettis Painting owner, foreman, and painting team. The final product was beautiful and just what I asked for in painting my garage.
Best contractor experience we can remember!
Pettis Painting is Professional, Organized, Experienced, and delivered as promised! Their website was the first indicator of their attention to detail. Then Ryan and Paul came over wearing branded polo's and reviewed our painting project. They asked lots of questions and listened closely to our concerns and desires. Ryan gave an informative presentation on his laptop and then provided a detailed quote on site.
No pressure. They were OK with waiting for our decision until the following day.
Our four room indoor project was a kitchen, a large living/dining room with 20ft high walls going up to a loft, a 20ft high stair well, and the loft with a different color accent wall. They scheduled 2 days for two layers.
Marcos and William (painters) arrived on time. By noon, they already had the the 1st layer applied. William is an artist and his cut lines were laser straight!
Jake the project manager stopped in to ensure all was going as expected.
Jose came over to assist with the work and helped the crew complete the entire job in a single day!
We were truly amazed with the speed and quality of the work and will recommend Pettis Painting to family and friends.
I had a fairly large amount of work- touching up along the ceiling in spots I did't have a ladder for, painting a room, but mostly it was painting the trim and frames across the upstairs, railings, and runner boards along the stairs. I was assigned a single worker that didn't at all seem prepared for the amount of work. He was there for over an hour longer than the agreed daily stopping time each of the four days. I had requested some additional work be done- a room be painted- in advance of the work starting, and wasn't given any pushback or concern. But that additional work was cited as being a reason some of the sections were "rushed" which, had that been communicated as a concern, I would have deferred.
The initial work "completed" was not good. There was sawtooth across almost the entire set of running boards, paint where there shouldn't have been... no paint where there should have been (initially forgetting to paint a section of the hallway), we have splots of paint on doors that weren't painted. Paint in our bathroom around the door jamb is ripped and pulled away. We don't have any of the paint, so now we live with it until we repaint the whole room.
When initially raising these concerns, the PM mentioned "it won't be perfect". Firstly, had that been communicated from the start we would have chosen a different company. Secondly, there was also a significant gap between "perfect" and what was left after the initial job completion.
To their credit, they did send someone out to touch up along all the problem areas and paint the areas that were initially missed. It looks better, but it was a struggle.
Also, at one point the worker had completely sealed off the kitchen at 7 pm the night before it was to be painted. We had to tear open sections of plastic to get to our fridge, and pantry to get to our dog food.
They are a great family business, transparent, and did a great follow-up.
Professional, timely, excellent work!
Work quality did not meet my expectations, despite discussions regarding potential resolutions I am carrying out fixing the work myself. Received a nominal refund check from Pettis Painting in spite of me telling them I am not interested in a refund
Not too sure I would jump to recommend without forewarning some about my experience but I would not say you all are anywhere near a bad place to work with.
Wonderful experience from start to finish couldn’t be more than happy with the job that they did. Our house looks amazing.
