Our first step of doing the concrete base wasn't completed level which made it difficult for us to level out the floor once the project was complete. Instead it followed the slope of what was already coming off away from the concrete slab. It was noted, but instead of fixing the concrete they just used more metal pieces to level out the base of the room. The finished metal and window part of the room looks very nice, we just didn't want a slanted room floor, so we had to level that concrete ourselves after which was difficult since it wouldn't have a nice finished concrete edge to hold it. It would have been preferred if patio enclosures offered to level the floor from the beginning instead of telling us how easy it would be to do ourselves after the project.
There was also the issue of having to wait for an ADA complaint door after the wrong set up was installed initially. This added over a month of just waiting with an unfinished room, and was definitely more difficult for the installers to fix instead of having the correct parts from the beginning.
Finally, the electrician was wonderful to work with but I wish we would have been told that the addition would be connected to one of our outdoor outlets by tubing that is very visible and quite frankly ugly. I would have hoped that it would have been connected without that cumbersome tube now along our wall.
Very high quality materials and build standards. Leo’s crew brought their A-game to every detail.
The connection leaked after completion. Broke my concert slab under my deck and tore up my yard
When you have to constantly ask when the next time someone will show up to finish our porch , then told one thing and people don’t show up. Then a lot of the work that did get done had to be redone. Never the same crew. Language barriers. Management changing as quick as people change their daily underwear.
Signed the contract in April, 2025-work not completed until May 28, 2026. Tried numerous times to call and get a status update, but no none would return a phone call. Only 2 employees eventually started giving us updates and would return calls. They were Megan and Becky.
I have been very unhappy with trying to reach someone in the company for follow up
Workmanship, materials, personal attention.
It's taking too long to build this. We were told it would be done by the end of Sept. and it's now December and it still isn't finished. It's very expensive. They did the roof wrong and it's leaking down the side of our house. We talked to a carpenter and he said that it's probably leaking into our attic too. There are 2 missing windows so there is snow in our "sunroom". The door doesn't work, and the window by the door does not work either. There are several places where it leaked when it rained.
I waited to have my porch done. The loan lapsed, and couldn't be renewed so while I was finding other loans, I was hounded and threatened every other day by the builder. Now I have the money to pay and no one will return my calls or text to finish this nightmare up. The builder dented my siding, left a huge hole by the footings and left the gate open and our dog escaped. We are contracting our lawyer because our porch isn't even finish and there is no telling when it will be because there is NO COMMUNICATION FROM THE COMPANY..
Starting with your sales person pushing the options for paying.
The end product of our project is quite nice, but it took a long time (too long) to get there. The reasons for that long process are complicated - partly there was some misunderstanding on our part, but there were problems on Patio Enclosures end as well.
Patio Enclosure kept to their word or if something changed, I was updated
