The window wasn't installed correctly the first time. When the opening is bigger than the window capacity there was a break down in planning on how go about installing the window. As it ended up is: it looks ok but I'm not sure about the weather staying out for the long haul.

The whole experience was very positive. My first encounter was with Rob. I was apprehensive that he was going to be pushy/forceful, but I was wrong. He was very easy going and professional. Next up, Dave the installer. He was a nice person who did a great job. He helped me to know how to take them apart to clean them, which turned out to be a snap. Easy peasy.He worked quickly and effectively and in inclement weather. I really can't think of anything negative to say about my experience with Mad City. I would highly recommend.

Just a little hitch in getting some parts

I previously used this company years ago when they were smaller and had a positive experience, which is why I chose them again. Unfortunately, this time the process was very different.

The sales and financing portion was overwhelming and confusing. I was initially quoted an interest rate of 6.9%, then later saw it closer to 8%, and then something slightly different again. The final terms were not clearly explained, and I still have not received full financing documentation outlining my payment schedule. I also shared that I was managing financial strain due to a recent divorce and existing credit card balances, yet the final contract exceeded $9,500 for a standalone shower. The shifting numbers and lack of clarity left me uncomfortable.

There were also repeated technical issues while drafting the contract, with the system crashing multiple times, which only added to the confusion.

After the contract was signed, communication became difficult. A sizing change was made without my approval. Cement was broken up during installation and not properly restored. I was told cement finishing is not something they “typically do,” which was surprising given that demolition was part of the job. The shower itself looks good, but the base area remains messy and unfinished.

Additionally, a wall in front of the shower was partially removed to expose plumbing for accessibility so I could later update the sink myself. The wall (including plywood) was taken down, pipes were exposed, and it was left unfinished.

While the shower unit itself looks nice, the process, transparency, and finishing details did not meet expectations. I am disappointed, especially given my prior positive experience. I hope the company improves its communication, contract clarity, and project completion standards moving forward.

Id recommend Mad city glass to anyone

The install went well, but I was disappointed with the mess left behind. There was a layer of "dust" on everything in the bathroom and even on the floors in the adjoining hallway and living room. I found a couple shards of the acrylic from the shower unit on the bathroom floor and on/behind the toilet. A bit of caulk was dripped into the heat register.

I believe nothing is perfect so a 9 is the highest recommendation I will give anything. My opinion

For transfer of ownership for warranty have to pay a fee to the manufacturer for it to happen

The salesperson sold us a window we didn't need and then didn't remove the charge from my bill. I had to speak with the field manager to get this resolved. I left a complaint with someone in operations and they won't call me back. Furthermore, my faucet and shower head are leaking.

From start of project everyone from sales to measurement to install was extremely professional informative highly efficient. Work was done in an extremely timely matter clean and attention to detail. Only reason not a ten is they were in the higher end of quotes but in the end the finished product exceeded my expectations and immediately changed the look and feel of my house positively and am looking forward to the end of drafts and highway noise in my old farmhouse.

The installers were very informative and friendly.

I was left with repairs to do after installation, despite sales assurances that nothing would be left in disrepair. Floor tiles were loosened and removed on a portion of the floor, then trim was glued down partially on finished floor, and partially on subfloor, making it extra work to make it look consistent.
After payment, installer wrote his own google review under my name, without discussion or approval. I find that disingenuous at best

The crew was very respectful.

The salesperson was very easy to work with. He was very no pressure. The install team was friendly, however when some quality issues came up the pressure got turned way up. Instead of fixing the issue they wanted to hide it with cheap fixes leaving very poor visual appeal.

They came out the first time and put in everything. Looked great. But they installed the old seat were it hit the shelf. Couldn’t fold the seat up against the wall like it should. We sent videos and pictures what was wrong. They came back out and ordered parts. But when they came out to fix it they refused to put the seat back in. They agreed to install the old seat from the old shower. They said it wasn’t covered under warranty. We agreed to that. But to install it where it doesn’t fold up out of the way for storage. The. Refused to instill and fix the problem. Just replaced the wall.

The financial g was not expained .le. Still confusing. The floor of the shower is very slippery. I need a hook for the shower hose put back by the bench.

I’m very that it only took 4 hours to complete the job , and it looks great, and cleaning was done exceptionally good.

They answered our questions, were prompt and professional.
