This is not my first time using Mad City. In the spring, I had them replaced five windows in my house. I was so pleased with the workmanship and the windows when I decided to do the bath I picked Mad City to do that. The quality is excellent. The workers are excellent. I am so pleased how this turned out. I plan on using them again to replace some more windows, but I need to get my finances in better shape before I do that. The lifetime guarantee is another plus for this company because they’re gonna stand behind what they do.

The starting process is very pushy. They want you to sign right now. And then you only have a window of 3 days to cancel. That part of the business could use some fixing. These are people’s homes, and it takes a lot of money to put windows in. If I wanted to shop around and compare prices, I felt rushed, and like I didn’t have that choice. Have grace.
Besides that, everything was great. The people we dealt with after that first and second visit, were fantastic. The installers were short handed with their crew so it was just 2 of them. They deserve a bonus or raise! Very kind, and they did great work! It has only been 4 days so we shall see in the coke and heat how they hold up. But so far….i love them!

The installers should communicate more about what they are doing and double check the contract. He mentioned that he wasn't sure where to put the grab bars because I wasn't present, but I'd left my phone number with him. He never called. Also the shelves are inconvenient for someone who sits in the shower. Way too high and behind me. Then he forgot to put in a ceiling panel and had to come back to finish it.

We didn't know we were going to have 3 different companies working on this project. My husband is not happy with the height of the shower rod. (I thought he had ok it. I was wrong.) The vent still has not been vented and the dry wall is messed up. The shower head was off set, and it should have been entered. There was mold on the wall behind where they glued the panels on. Said it wasn't that bad. My husband had to calk where the access door to the piping was. He spliced in pieces where the side beams were and told my husband it would be okay. When he was looking for something to screw the ceiling to, he just said,
he would put the walls up last so they could help hold up the ceiling. My husband had asked if they needed to go up into the attic and put a board there for him to screw to. And he said it would be alright.

We will definitely be recommending Mad City to anyone who needs a walk in shower.

The installer, Wyatt M. did a fantastic job of laying tarps, cleaning up afterwards, keeping me in informed when plumbing had to be redirected and made the overall experience great. The 9 vs 10 is more because I was expecting a call back from a person I spoke to at the main office that I never received.
