Accuracy of information on potential policy

I asked to have other bids and was just told - this is the best. Who did you talk to ? What was the bid? Did you actually talk to anyone? Now I'm trying to figure out what is actually covered in my policy and realize there is no understandable useful verbiage and when I went to Mercury they said I had to ask you. YOu don't answer my questions. I don't want to go through you.

You cancelled my homeowner insurance erroneously on January 28, 2026. I discovered this in May, when I was notified by the mortgage holder. Thus, my house went uninsured for 4 months. When I brought this to the attention of my insurance agent, she contacted the appropriate people and after I had to submit a “No Loss” form, the insurance was reinstated.
