Drew and Tina, we’re very kind and helpful with explaining what was going to be done and walking through the procedure with Erie also. But the company that they sent to do the work ( subcontractors) I would never recommend. They didn’t get the paint I chose at Home Depot they got another brand that was similar but darker. I had asked for the paneling that looked like breadboard, they got the pieces that were cheaper. The paint job was not good, they tried but definitely not skilled in that area and when I said something to the owner of Brightside George his answer was, we’ll as long as it looks good from 4 ft away it’s ok. There’s a piece where the moulding didn’t come to the corner so there’s a large gap between the toe kick and moulding that should meet. Then the wood in between the closet wasn’t cut long enough so there’s a gap there and behind the door to the bathroom there’s a big mess of caulk going down the entire door. Very disappointing and would never recommend Bright side. Also I went in to see how it was coming along and they didn’t put moulding around the closet doors and I said about that and painting. George said we’ll your old doors weren’t painted. I signed the paper that said they finished the work but of course after the fact I found these things that weren’t done correctly. I felt very intimidated.

The company was not timely in their response to the insurance claim adjuster. They were not prompt in scheduling repairs to my home. I had to stay on top of them and prompt the scheduling. They were not proactive.

They did a horrible job with the inventory. They missed about $80,000 of belongings. The inventory was very broad and not detailed and it was hard for me to tell what I was looking at. Also, I thought they would take pictures before they threw the stuff away and they did not. I had to ask for my stuff back several times before getting it back and we got stuff back that was not ours. They only recorded one refrigerator and we have two. It took me three weeks to go back and inventory everything myself and it was very disappointing.

I used this company through a recommendation by my insurance company, ALLSTATE. The crew that was dispatched to mitigate the water damage in my basement arrived later than scheduled. However, they were great once they got started (very polite and worked hard). The company did work around my scheduled out of state vacation that took place three days after the incident, and came right in to double-check that my full basement was dry upon my return. My biggest issue came into play with the flooring guy, Frank. He was not thorough in assessing the quality carpet that I had and suggested a decent replacement but of lower quality. I did not realize it until after the install had begun and I had my wife Facetime me so I could see the carpet and padding; he ordered the wrong padding and I had to stop the installment from being completed. When I called and spoke with a supervisor at the company, he was very nonchalant about my concerns and even implied that I was mistaken. The job which was every bit of a two week project stretched out for 8 weeks. I will never do business with this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

They were great. They were courteous and professional. They explained the whole process in detail. They had people that knew how the cleaning process and drying process worked. They knew what they were doing!

I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH DURACLEAN. THERE ARE SOME ITEMS MISSING AND WHEN I HAVE FINISHED INVENTORY, I WILL LET YOU KNOW. FOR ONE THING I HAD SIX BOTTLES OF IMARI PERFUME FROM AVON IN MY LINEN CLOSET AND HAVE NOT SEEN THEM ANYWHERE. ALSO I AM SURE THERE IS SOMETHING FROM MY BETTY BOOP CABINET MISSING, MAYBE BROKEN. THERE WERE SEVERAL OTHER ITEMS BROKEN. WINDOW IN DINING ROOM FRAME BROKEN.
