Let me start out with the bottom line first. We just had a new roof and Master Shield gutter protection put on our house and the end result from start to finish was a perfect job. Everything could not have turned out any better and it looks beautiful! Now for a little more detail:

We had a small leak on our indoor ceiling and wanted to get the cause repaired. After viewing their commercial on television, which gave some history on how the company started, viewing ratings that other people had written, awards that the company had received over time and seeing a previous job that they had completed in a relatives neighborhood, I decided to give them a call.

I first spoke with Tian and made an appointment with Alex to diagnose the problem. I was given 3 options to resolve the issue, a new patch over the suspected area, re-shingle the back side of the house, or re-shingle the whole house. We decided to go with a complete job as the roof was last done over 20 plus years ago and we wanted everything to match for resale value in the future.

We next spoke with Kaitlyn who kept us well informed along the way with everything that takes place before they do the actual job. The team showed up on the day of the job, removed the previous shingles, found and replaced a piece of CDX that was in an area unrelated to the leak, and re-shingled the whole house in one day. They were great and worked very well together, highly efficient. Sami and Paulo checked in during the day to view the progress and make sure everything went according to plan. It did.

The Master Shield gutter protection was installed about a week later by Keven and Josimar who also did a great job. Now we don't have to worry about climbing on the roof and blowing the leaves out of the gutters in the fall.

I also spoke with Kiley along the way who was great. Miah reached out afterwards and provided me with the paperwork that I could forward to my insurance for a discount on my homeowners insurance.

Everyone we spoke to and interacted with along the way could not have been any nicer. They all were very personable, had very positive attitudes and indicated that if we had any concerns, we could call anytime and they would be addressed.

So, in conclusion, this turned out to be a very positive experience and we could not be any happier.

I recently had my roof replaced by Couto Construction and I was very satisfied with all the staff, workmanship and outcome. During the initial meeting our wants and needs were discussed. I felt T was honest and felt no pressure when I made any decision.
The crew worked like a well oiled machine. They seem to enjoy working together and were very efficient. They were very respectful and clean up was great.
I was more than satisfied with the completed roof and I received many compliments.

The work I recently had done to my home was the second job by Couto Construction. After the first job I didn't need a second estimate. After years of broken promises and expectations I found Couto Construction.

There are other roofing companies who deliver the same professional service in my area. Hopefully they don't forget to call or text back when a customer is waiting for the project to be completed.

I would not recommend Couto Construction to anyone at this point. Four years ago they completed partial replacement of our roof. They did a wonderful job and did so in one day. Clean up, communication, everything went well. This is why I called them to do the next third of the roof. It's like I'm dealing with another company. Most everything to do with the job has gone awry. Poor communication, delays, inaccurate orders, and so on and the job is not finished. They started the job the beginning of November. From what I can see, the men and woman doing the work did a good job. They worked hard. The work they did stretched into four full days. One day a person from the company came and advised me that the method used to install the skylights was not what should have happened. They wanted to order new skylights and reinstall them using the second method, which I can't recall exactly what it is called. I have not heard from anyone for 3 weeks. I sent a letter to one of the two brothers, Derek, but have not heard anything from anyone. This is a $30,000 project!! Not something my husband and I take lightly. We are very disappointed and stressed. In the meantime, my husband is in the hospital, so my mind is on other more critical matters. We need a resolution to this situation. Thank you.

I have no complaints from start to finish. The service was top-notch, they did an outstanding job and I am completely satisfied. They were truly professional and I had complete peace of mind before, during, and after the job. I would recommend this company to my relatives and friends.

Logan, Kevin and Josimar were a great team. Punctual, professional, pleasant. They made sure we were pleased, and happy through out the whole project.

I feel Couto did an excellent job. My yard was left spotless when they left. Everything was completed on time.

The crew was very knowledgeable, very timely, and did everything really well. There was a language barrier there, so they didn't full understand certain things I was trying to say to them. I think it would be worthwhile to have one English-speaking person there during the job.

We initially had an issue with the placement of the dumpster. They responded on a Saturday to relocate the dumpster to where I wanted it. That is high marks for a company in my opinion.

The Staff at the Office were very Professional and Helpful. The Production Crew for my Roof & Windows did an Excellent Job

I couldn't have asked for a better company to take care of the issue. They were an extremely good company and they were professional and knowledgeable. From David Silva all the way to the crew chief, Andy, and the receptionist, they were all easy to talk to and work with. They answered any questions and were polite. It was only a one-day job and it was done quickly, efficiently, and without a problem. They were great and I'd call them again.

Lack of communication on my skylights apparently they ordered the wrong size and had to install them a different way that I wanted them installed.

They were timely and efficient.

Couto Construction was outstanding from the beginning when Claude and David gave me the estimate. I was nervous because I have never replaced my roof before. They made me feel great. We were able to talk and laugh. They followed through with what they promised. The workers worked from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. When you have never had a roof done, you are nervous. I have owned a business for 30 years and I would recommend this company. I would recommend them to anyone and say they will not regret it. They are that good. It rained a lot last week and I ran to check the cellar because I always got water in it. It was dry! The gutters were perfect. I love this company. That is only part of how I feel about this company. I deal with people across the country. This company is wonderful. Even the materials are delivered when they say they will. Everything was in order and well done. This company deserves A++++++ rating.

I wish when they originally came out to do the estimation that they would've went on the roof and gave us is the exact cost for the project the first time!

In this day and age we found Couto Construction to be very trustworthy. Vicmanuel Camacho, Luis Us and Mark Magrath were hard workers, professional, cooperative and listened to our concerns. We noticed a crack in the hand railing a few days after the job was completed and Mark was sent to our house 3 days later. He made the necessary repairs to our satisfaction. We've received many compliments and are very happy with our new deck.

They tore up part of my lawn from the dumpster they brought. The workers were smoking and left the butts all over my lawn

During the removal of the old roof shingles, an 8' x 6' screen was damaged. I called Couto and they sent a tech to repair the screen. When he arrived, he realized that his repair material would not fit. He immediately went to Lowe's to purchase a larger roll of screening. He returned, brought the screen into my garage and did a splendid job of repairing the damage. The screen is like brand-new. I couldn't be happier! (In truth, I was concerned they would only place a patch on the screening.) All around, their team did an excellent job! Highly recommend Couto Construction.
