We had the My Door Co. team build a fully custom 'vintage style' wood door for our 1949 brick bungalow in Park Hill, replacing the original (which was in rough condition and would stick so that it couldn't be opened, and let snow blow in underneath it each winter!).

I had some design ideas that I shared when meeting with Chris for the initial consult (based on a 1930s door from the UK I'd seen), and he walked me through all of our options when it came to wood type, glass types, stain, etc. He was extremely knowledgeable, as well as being thorough and responsive, so they were very easy to work with. We signed a contract in March after reviewing the initial drawing, and paid a deposit, with an estimated install timeframe of around late September (they are busy and booked out, and for good reason!).

September rolled around: Chris coordinated the install seamlessly, and the team that came to install the door were fast, friendly, and very detail-oriented. They are true craftsmen, and were exceptionally tidy - you couldn't even tell anyone had been there after they were done working! They also removed our old door and heavy storm door and hauled them away for us.

The door itself is truly a work of art - it is constructed of sturdy, quarter-sawn white oak (stained in 'special walnut') with thick panes of seedy/seeded glass that give it a vintage look. It completely changes the curb appeal and feel of our old house, and I am absolutely delighted with it. I am an admitted perfectionist with very high standards, and I was completely blown away by the craftsmanship and quality of work. The new door opens, closes, and latches perfectly, and blocks so much more outdoor noise than our old door: our living room is noticeably quieter now as a result.

We couldn’t be more satisfied with our experience with My Door Company. Chris was responsive and knowledgeable. The time frame predicted (started the process in January and estimated completion and install in June. Install completed in August) was inaccurate but we were told in advance and why the delay was occurring. The door is gorgeous. Install was easy and much faster than anticipated.

My Door Company understood my request right from the start. They also communicated very well regarding the timeline and followed up with me to get my decisions regarding the design, the type of glass, and the hardware to be used. The installation required a good portion of a day, but they were working with 113+ year old brick and mortar on the house. My Door Company followed up with me as to how the door is working post-installation and are responsive to questions and concerns. Their knowledge of doors and installation on older homes is excellent. It's clear that the company is passionate about doors. They take great pride in their workmanship and customer service.

My Door replaced two doors for us. The scheduling and pricing was handled by my HOA, so I'm unfamiliar with those details. However--I'm very pleased with the quality of the doors. The crew was careful to install and adjust each door properly. They were also friendly and answered all my questions during the installation.

We had three custom doors made. One was for an awkward space in an old pole barn. The doorway was exceptionally tall and wide and the surface underneath a bit uneven and the walls unfinished. No worries! The door is spectacular with a wide threshold and jamb and an overhead window. The finished product is stunning. Greatly appreciated the attention to detail at every level, adding a trim piece under one of the interior doors and a piece of trex under the exterior door to make it more weather (and snow shovel) resistant. I don’t have any experience with knotty alder, and it turned out beautifully. My husband and I were unsure of colors and ended up going with Chris’s and Reed’s recommendations and opting for a split finish, which was so masterfully done.

We looked for a new door at a few door places. None seemed as professional with the likelihood of a trouble-free job as My Door Company did. We also had a recommendation from a neighbor. So we had high expectations and My Door Company satisfied them in full. I will recommend them without any reservation.

These 2..... Chris and Reed totally exceeded our expectations. The quality of workmanship exceeded our expectation. The installation was clean, took 1 day for installation, 1/2 day for touch up a couple days later. Our door is beautiful and 100% custom. Rustic walnut outside, poplar inside. 40 in door panels with 14 inch sidelites. Aquatex glass with Low-E3/Argon. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for Custom Entry Doors. These guys knocked it out of the park.

Working with My Door Company has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. From designing the door, touring the shop where it's made, to the final install it was a super smooth process (for both of the doors we ordered). Reed was super responsive, and the installation was great. Our front door was especially challenging b/c it's a round top and we live in an older home. Reed and his dad were extremely dedicated to making sure the fit was perfect and even came up with a super creative solution to work around an issue they encountered that made it difficult to anchor the door into our existing interior bricks. I can't think of another company that would put in the much time and effort to ensure a great fit with a challenge like that. In fact, we love My Door Company so much that on our street alone there are 8 doors from My Door Company. Highly, highly, highly recommend!
