The work was great. The project manager was on top of things. The contractor was sporadic in communication and in showing up.

The installer was amazing but the sales team I was not that impressed with. They made me feel like I was buying an extended warranty for my car. They gave me no options other than what I presume to be the top of the line windows. It wasn't untill we talked to the PM and was informed that there were many options including color and functions. It would have been nice to have had other options including.

The slider was measured and built incorrectly causing install issue and longer install time because of the slider binding in the actual house frame and jam area weatherstripping tape was not used because there was not enough room to use it this needs to be corrected either a new measurement is taken and new door built correctly or the entire frame rebuilt to hold the door correctly but it needs to be corrected and the hardware for bother the slider and screen doors needs to be installed ASAP or installed on new doors before they are brought out and installed this time “should have been factory installed before delivery anyway”……..

I would use the agin as all was very organized we will see how the follow up works on 1 scratched outside pain. Stand by.

We ordered our windows and put down 50% in May 2024. It was September before we were scheduled for the install then days before the install we were notified that one of the windows was cracked and had to be reordered. Then we were given a November 5th install date and charged the additional 40% of the total. On the day of the install we were told that one of the windows was cracked and had to be reordered again. Then we were scheduled for a February 12th install and on the day of the install the installer called to say he couldn’t do the installation because his truck had completely broken down and had no idea when it would get fixed. It took from then until the middle of this month (April) to find a replacement installer. We finally have our windows installed and though we are happy with the windows, the nearly year long process to get them installed means we will not use you for the rest of our windows and will not recommend you to anyone. We had to spend the whole winter with a bedroom window that wouldn’t close. I owned a couple of businesses in my life and if I ever had a situation like this with a customer, I would immediately discount the price while I offered to do the rest of the house for a discount when you were ready to do it.

No way will I recommend YHIC. to anyone.
