When Joe gave his sales pitch, he stated that the half-screen could be used in the raised or lowered position. I thought that was genius because I rarely open both the top and bottom sashes. What Joe unfortunately failed to clarify was that the half-screen was not designed to remain in the raised position. I was greatly disappointed to discover this AFTER installation. Sales personnel should ensure prospective clients understand this, especially if they think like I do and want to lower the upper sash and have the half-screen remain in the raised position.
